Absolutely. We cheat. We buy the Tasty Bite® 1 minute pouches and we mixed them. One ginger lentil rice and one Punjab eggplant. Whole Foods and most health food stores have them.
My 4 kids always ate and liked salads, too. I had them make them, and that got them started. We also sprouted seeds, and when one of the boys was in college, salad bars were becoming popular. His friends had to ask him what the different ingredients were, and he proudly pointed them out.
Cheeseburger, chips and Pepsi!
Not really, but close. I’m a single dad and I made cheeseburgers, fries, and cinnamon spiced pork and beans. My daughter and I chowed down while we watched another episode of Breaking Bad.
Too cool for grilling tonight here. Will save this for warmer temps...
Gonna settle for chicken tacos.
Thank you!!!!!
Ham and pea soup with leftover Easter ham.
A large bowl of cabbage and ham soup, Mrs. L’s home made pretzel rolls, and a nice glass of Sav Blanc.
Delicious.

It is cold here. We are expecting snow tomorrow.
A nice, thick pork chop (boneless,) grilled with garlic, rosemary s/p, till just pink and juicy. Served with Jalapeno jelly, baked potato, Italian green beans cooked with Italian herb mix and a bit of olive oil, and hot french bread ..and butter. Once we found Alton Brown’s tip of grilling a piece of flesh in the oven, we’ve not needed to even begin to think of outdoor grilling and weather. The man is a genius!!
Thanks. I’ve never made the concoction from scratch. Will have to try it.
