Pardon haste in typing / brevity . We are moving to our new house in a few hours and the internet / electric will be turned off in our old home where I now sit within the next hour or so .

I wish.
I doubt it, though.
I don’t want to think of Cruz as what he’s presenting himself as, but it’s getting worse and worse.

Cruz will support Trump and get the VP spot . Am I nuts? They could have carried out that plan without going to war against each other in so personal a manner. I wish they had such a plan, but it's become so bitter and so non-stop I'd be shocked if they came together as a team before the convention.

NO, it’s way to nasty. Especially Ted and his continuous lies.

Having completely obliterated the GOPe in the primaries to date, the Trump and Cruz camps are opening the door for the GOPe to sneak in their candidate in a brokered convention.

Another possibility is that this contretemps is being engineered by the GOPe in the hopes that those two will destroy each other. Then at the convention, as damaged goods, they can dispatch Trump and Cruz, and introduce their golden child - their designated loser to the Dems...

I believe I said as much back when they met. This is Kabuki theatre or WWE wrestling drama if you will. Notice that Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and etc. are all gone now?

Not anymore. This probably cannot even be walked back.

No. Trump’s ego is too big. I think this recent dust up is a scorched earth policy with someone who will use the MAD approach.
I resigned to Hillary being president long before the campaign even started.

Not me. I think Cruz is a horn-dog.
Letting Carly take his mic away at the Monday night presser was the end of Cruz.
No man hides behind a skirt...but Cruz did.
That's the end of Cruz.

Last year I had suspected that Trump was acting as a lightning rod for Ted Cruz by setting himself up as the lead conservative target for the media. In doing so he’d pave the way for Ted.
Maybe I was right. The game isn’t over yet so we’ll see.
