The young men suspected of killing of a Georgia pizza delivery man were more focused on the food he was carrying than the money in his pocket, according to police.
Investigators said that Shane Varnadore still had $62 on him when the Papa Johns driver was found dead outside an apartment in Lawrenceville earlier this month.
Jermaine Young, 21, and Reginald Lofton, 14, are both on trial for the 28-year-olds death and suspected of only taking two regular pizzas and two dessert pizzas.

" Both Young and Lofton are originally from Chicago, with Lofton coming to stay in the Atlanta suburbs several months ago after his mother died. Young was reportedly supposed to head back to the Windy City before the incident, but missed his bus on the day of the shooting.
THE CHICAGO WAY.
soulless eyes....
That’s why I’m all for abortion for these people.
I wouldn’t go that far, but forced sterilization of druggies, felons, and welfare fraudsters is okay with me.
Well that’s what I mean! They are like feral animals.
Later
Appears to be.
I’m pretty sure that people who are 100% dead-set against abortion for any reason have never had to deal with hood rats.
two scum pond rejects killing a working man....
remove certain "communities" and we would have one happy, relatively healthy, relatively wealthy country...
white people must never go in black hoods...never....never associate with the hood rats...
“Honestly, I didnt to come to this thread, but I read the headline and thought they shot the pizza driver so they could eat him? Im better now.”
That’s coming. Those references to “Zombie Apocalypse” aren’t totally in jest.
“geez, when i was 23 some guy hurt my sister and i drove my nova into the front of his store.”
What year Nova?
“Here in NJ pizza isnt even delivered in the hood for this very reason.”
A few weeks back I had a pizza guy make me come out to the street to get my pizza because he had recently been robbed and beaten. I live in a house on a quiet street.
Twenty years ago we had a pizza delivery guy killed in rural NJ (by white perps); it was big news BECAUSE they were white. Blacks in urban NJ have become an “untouchable” caste; never mind pizza - they can’t even get a tow truck from any of the surrounding towns...
oh boy, I want to say mid ‘70s. It was OLD. Might have been a few years either way.
I had three :) A few K cars. Finally graduated to a Dodge Colt, that lasted for a while :)
ah, the young years. 16 to 25. never paid more than a grand for a car.
one K car cost me 200 bucks and was good for a WHOLE summer of going down to the shore and home. about an 80 mile trip.
Died that September and pulled over and took the plates off :)
Back in the mid-80s I had a 1978 sedan police package. It had 87k on it when I got it, 155k when I left to go overseas and sold it to some friends. It finally died with about 250k on it.
I still have a fantasy about getting a ‘78 coupe and souping it up real good.
any chances of making it a reality? That sounds really cool :
those cars went for 200k easy! I had three novas I think. they were so cheap it was like buying candy lol
I don't want anything fancy, just something sedate and fun to drive:
Spanish for “Doesn’t run.” :-)
