The GOP needs to unite, and beat Hillary.
Enough is enough. Stand down Cruz.
I agree. Cruz needs to stand down as he does not have a chance to win the nomination.

The humor is too much to resist posting this.
So you’re saying the problem with Cruz is that he’s been standing up too much?
Even a Vegan will duck into a butcher’s shop to get out of a hailstorm. Doesn’t make them a meat eater. Just because the “establishment” is reluctantly backing Cruz doesn’t mean he’s a RINO.
I keep seeing the words “attacking his wife” about Heidi, but never saw an attack. “Spill the beans” is an attack?
The GOPe knew the bimbo eruption was coming and tried to deflect it thru lies.
They failed miserably, and the scandal will end the Cruz campaign.
You know, Trump supporters have been claiming it is time for Cruz to stand down since the first primaries. Could it be that is the only way Trump can get the nomination?
So far Landslide Donald has won about 37% of the votes cast. Of course, when the vote is being divided among multiple candidates all you need is a little more than a third of the voters to win. If Trump could at least start winning more than half of the voters in any state he would have a hell of a better claim to being the consensus candidate.
Maybe Trump needs to stand down.
The Cruz scandal has the GOPe written all over it.
Ted got the big head and thought he was going to take the nomination all by his lonesome at the convention.
They knew all about his lille trysts and now they are telling him “we didn’t go to all this trouble for you, Ted”.
They have already let Trump know they are going to take away his nomination, but Ted thought he was going to be The Won.
Standing down is a decision that would be based on wisdom, not smarts.
Cruz has shown time and again wisdom is something he sorely lacks.
Ain’t gonna happen.
He’s doomed to be sidelined.
Someone’s going to be the not Trump. If it isn’t Cruz, it will be Kasich. If Trump is so popular, let him get the 1,237 delegates and it’s over. If he doesn’t, it isn’t. You don’t win allies by saying, be reasonable and do it my way.
His recent attacks on Mr. Cruzs wife

From FiveThirtyEight: 739 delegates.
I can’t think of a single reason why Ted Cruz should retire from the field of battle today any more than the Orange ought to have left the floor of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament when they were down double digits against both Gonzaga and Virginia, and where they went on to win both games.
Just like Ted Cruz will first beat Donald Trump for the nomination and then beat any candidate the Democrats choose to run against him.
If Donald Trump thinks he has the will and the ability to change that outcome, he should then try to do so like a man and stop acting like a 5th grade drama queen crybaby.
Wow. You are a NOOB but you did an excellent job of posting a thread. Formatted properly with explanations in parentheses.
GOOD JOB !
I think Trump is the only one running who won’t turn around and appoint all of his republican opponents to government positions. I hope I’m right.
Leading Republicans may not be supporting him, but Cruz does have the most Republicans supporting him.
For example 40 current House members, and about 350 state legislators.
Are you insane? Trump attacks Cruz’s family and you want him to stand down to help Trump?
Get a grip. Sleazy Donald has made every other candidate in the race hate him. No one is going to work with him. NO ONE.
Next week you will start to see endorsements start coming in for Cruz. Starting with Scott Walker.
Cruz is the conservative voice, if he leaves only 5he leftist will have a voice.
“but Silence From G.O.P. Brass Deafens”
That’s because the smart money is one Trump winning the nomination AND the Presidency, and the great bulk of ordinary elected officials are NOT part of the GOPe aristocracy and have little to win by opposing Trump and much to gain by not opposing him.
It’s mainly the GOPe movers and shakers that stand to lose when Trump wins the Presidency, not the little guys that forced to take orders from the “leadership”.
If the little guys REALLY thought Trump had no chance, they’d be lining up against him quicker than you can say Jim Robinson.
