Back in 2004, the St. Paul Pioneer Press needed to fill some empty space in the Easter Sunday paper and some staffer came up with the zany idea to invite readers to create dioramas using Peeps.

There’s a museum near us that has an annual PEEPS Show exhibit like this. Been dong it for several years.

For most of my life I didn’t know Peeps were edible. I’d assumed they were Styrofoam decorations for Easter baskets.
