Let's Pray for Ted Cruz, his family and supporters...

As everything unfolds before us, in which direction only God knows. We must remember who the True enemies are -- Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

This NE story, where ever it leads, is straight from the evil one's plan to ruin many souls whether you are a Cruz or a Trump supporter. Let's not give Satan what he wants.

I especially want to pray for Ted Cruz and his family -- one can only imagine the anguish and heartache they are going through know -- whether the story is true or not.

I say this as a solid Trump supporter.

As a Catholic I offer this prayer:

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray;
and do thou, O prince of the Heavenly host,
by the power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

God created us all in his image and likeness, but we all have a fallen natures. We need help to overcome our fallen natures -- the Jews learned this through their as seen in the Old Testament.

Thankfully, help came with Jesus Christ. We need to humble ourselves to admit that we need Jesus' help.

I totally agree it does not look good for Ted Cruz. Instead of pilling on this Easter weekend, we should pray for them and for ourselves who cannot find it in us to be humble and merciful.

Should the occasion arise that he is found guilty- we should also pray that God give us the grace to assume he is innocent until proven guilty- and pray that God keep us from bearing false witness, and from runnign with rumors which are unsubstantiated because God hates these things

If you look in the original posting of the tread, I was careful not to presume guilt or innocence. Just that it is an extremely difficult time whether the story is true or not.

For me it’s more about being a Hypocrite. He maintains he is a Christian family man, a conservative. Yet, if he has been having numerous affairs over the years and still chooses to run for President, he has misled people into voting for him, giving people hope that a Godly man would lead our nation.

I've been trying to stay out of the conflict between Trump and Cruz because I was once a Cruz supporter. I've only responded to ridiculous claims and claiming Donald Trump is the devil is about as ridiculous as it gets.

If one would just take a look at all the evil attacking Trump and coming from so many places (dems, GOPe, media, etc), I know he's not perfect but he's far from the devil as you try to claim. If Trump is so evil, why is so much evil trying to destroy him?

I pray that we get this right and put the right man in charge to help start the destruction of the corrupt Washington DC establishment.

I have no doubt it is Trump, despite his faults, is the right man for the job to start the long process of trying to save this country. If he fails, civil war was inevitable anyways. If one man like Trump, with the will of the American people, can get things done and help avoid that bloodshed, it's a very good thing for this country. Trump is well worth the risk.

I would also add, that I was careful to direct our prayers to casting out the real enemies who are setting up these traps and snares to the ruin of MANY SOULS whether you are a Trump, Cruz, or any other supporter.

I think most reasonable people agree with your comment, however, let’s do allow the process to play out fairly and justly- IF ted is guilty, then he will have to pay the price- IF however he is innocent, then people who have condemned him before the facts are known are guilty of bearing false witness

Right now the only people that know for sure whether he is guilty or innocent are, he himself, the women he is accused of having the affairs with, and perhaps his wife- but the women and he definitely know whether he’s guilty or not at this point—

All we know for sure at this point is that a scandal rag has printed a rumor, and we know for sure two of the women accused in the rumor have strongly condemned the article claiming it is untrue- and we know for a fact Ted has strongly denied the allegations as well- Whether they are telling the truth or not remains to be seen- That is all we know for sure at this point-

IMHO, as the story now stands, we cannot be absolutely certain that it is true. Although, I would say it does not look good.

Whatever the outcome, we should humble ourselves, pray and be merciful.

We are in the midst of a very serious spiritual war, they way forward to victory is to pray.
