The entire conservative side is falling into an out-and-out, full-blown political civil war instigated by probably the Democrats and the GOPe to keep control of the channels of power in the country (which equals millions in their pockets). Who in their right mind would respond to an ad showing one's wife in a less-than-honorable photo (all people make mistakes) when one should have just refused to discuss it? AND, all should have simply ignored ANYTHING coming from the National Enquirer as being pure, unadulterated filth, NO, everyone has to jump in and start talking.
Now, instead of focusing on the Godless, lesbian, alcoholic and mentally unstable enemy Hillary whose husband was Philanderer-in-Chief (and the media really didn't care what he did) and who has the support of almost EVERY one of our enemies, the conservatives are in a toe-to-toe fight over he said, she said. I am hoping and praying that Trump brings a new party to the table, a party that cares about protecting American sovereignty and economy, a party that is NOT about enriching itself at the expense of the people.

What we are watching is the death of a political party
and the continued slow death of a republic.
I think in both cases, we are looking at a future of Soviet style socialism.

Yup, you’re right. The GOPe will be exposed for the reprobates they are, and a new, CONSERVATIVE party will emerge. The GOPe will be absorbed into the Dims — which is where they belong, anyway — and we will have two very distinct political parties: The Dims and the Conservatives.
Unfortunately, we will get Hillary Clinton as president, a Dim Senate, and the end of the republic. Then, all bets are off, because we will slip into civil war.
If so, that is very sad and we are indeed doomed.

The GOP killed itself by allowing the GOPe to call the shots for so long. A new party will emerge from the rotten corpse.
