5th UPDATE, 6:25 PM: Now Amblin Partners has joined the anti-Georgia chorus over the states pending religious liberty legislation. Amblin Partners is committed to diversity and inclusion for all, the company led by Steven Spielberg. We would be disappointed to see our pipeline of production end at the Georgia border because of this legislation. While we are aware that Governor Deal has not yet made a decision, we stand with our industry colleagues in strongly urging him to veto this bill.

It won’t break my heart if they leave the state. The more sodomy-enablers who leave the better.
It will be VERY interesting to see what Tyler Perry’s movie company does. Based in Atlanta, Perry’s company is committed to black (but not exclusively) black entertainment and he has done a number of Christian-oriented shows, such as the “Passion” that was on FOX last week.
“Uh oh might have to cancel my Netflix subscription.”
Why might?
They have told you who’s side they are on.
My subscription will definitely be canceled, and they will know why, no matter how this plays out.
Netflix is, of course, free to criticize Georgia and free to move their production company-- they are not free to threaten to do so for political reasons.
I understand North Carolina is nice this time if year.
Gay Mafia extortion, as usual. I’m getting really sick of their Mad Dog tactics.
Technically, theft of copyrighted material is... well, theft. Why not just rob people for a living, it's easier than working, right?
Dont preach to me bud. I’m in the biz. Before you start spouting nonsense, try to analyze why it’s legal. Just because you hear the ‘word’ download does NOT necc. mean it’s illegal.
And BTW, 5 of MY shows were downloaded more than a million times and do I care? Nope.
Seattle Parks and Recreation is facing a first-of-a-kind challenge to gender bathroom rules. A man undressed in a women’s locker room, citing a new state rule that allows people to choose a bathroom based on gender identity.
It was a busy time at Evans Pool around 5:30pm Monday February 8. The pool was open for lap swim. According to Seattle Parks and Recreation, a man wearing board shorts entered the women’s locker room and took off his shirt. Women alerted staff, who told the man to leave, but he said “the law has changed and I have a right to be here.”
There are lots better sites than Netflix online, and they’re free.
Once again, Sen. Joe McCarthy was right.
Just sign it, and move on.
Get used to it; imagine being the parent of a young girl...
Yea, I used to live in Hollywood too and also worked in "the biz". Perhaps I didn't work in the biz long enough to forget the concept of right and wrong though, so I still cling to the outdated notion that downloading copyrighted material without properly paying or otherwise getting permission is a form of theft. Not that I care about Hollywood's profits that much, but I do have some self-respect left.
Going to be interesting to see where Deal comes down on this. The movie filming explosion in Georgia has been a tremendous boon for the economy. Several studios already have plans to build post production studios in Georgia as well. Georgia would lose millions in revenue and thousands of jobs as a result. It’s going to be very interesting...
Yeah, CANCEL mine too!!
Ease of use. I dont keep a computer connected to my TV and dont enjoy TV viewing on my computer.
Funny. One of the producers of the Walking Dead is a good bud of mine and he told me if it wasn’t for torrent, WD would not be as popular as it is today.
F-U, Netflix
Why is Georgia all by itself?
