Cruzmania has caused some to be consumed by a degree of darkness or insanity. Those two were definitely well over the edge.

Today it was just plain out of control bazaar.

I admit I am biased, but what sense does it make to hand this nomination over to the GOPe.

If there aren’t plants here, they should be on someone’s payroll. They’re doing a bang up job for the GOPe.

I say that not wanting to see anyone banned over this.

I don’t want to see the Cruzers get in trouble, but enough is enough.

At some point sanity has to rule.

You know what’s really strange to me. Some of the folks who shoot their mouths off the most on the forum in support of Cruz, never or hardly ever vote.

Those two didn’t vote today. They had all day to do it.

Is it my imagination, or are MANY of the most vociferous Cruz supporters only occasional FReepers?

I recognize VERY FEW of their screen names, but when I look them up they’ve been FReepers for at least a few years.

The telltale give-away is to look at their in forum participation.

On many of them if you go down the 250 posts, you’re back into 2008-2013.

One guy today that was one of the most vicious had only been posting against for a few weeks.

You go down below that and you’re quickly into 2013.

This leads me to wonder if these aren’t accounts on file with the RNC, and they use them during periods like this for disinformation.

I’ve been thinking the same thing, but the ones I’ve tracked down seem to have had a literal blitz of post in the last months. I go back three pages or so and it winds up being only two weeks ago.

I refer to those as Zombies. If I find a Zombie account I will usually post a comment on congratulating them on their recovery from a long illness.

I use to keep track (up to 17), but gave up. Some are far more egregious and only appear at election time.
