“extreme weather like killer storms and high-rising seas could be mere decades.”

What happened to the “Al Gore storms” of the nineties?

“A sobering new report on the impact of climate change....”

Wondering how there can be a “sobering new report” when everything these “experts” say indicates they are drunk on delusions of grandeur.

The only problem with the report is that extreme weather events have been down for over a decade both here and abroad.

So, it’s going to be relatively calm, then.

...extreme weather like killer storms...

In related but unreported news, it has now been 3804 days (10.41 years) since the last major (Category 3, 4 or 5) hurricane has made landfall in the United States. This obliterates the old record of 2231 days (6.11 years) set in 1906.

However, since Global Warming predicts an increase in both frequency and force of hurricanes, this record-shattering calm spell is just another proof of Global Warming.

Go look at the NOAA tide charts. Rates of ocean rise have not changed since the information was firs being kept, more than a century ago for most locations. The increase is something like 6 inches per century.

That’s what they’ve been saying since the day I bought my land along the NC coast 7 years ago. And they’ll still be saying that in 7 years when I start building my retirement home there!
