Why all the calls for Cruz to drop out? I’d like to have a choice come June 7th...otherwise I will just throw our family votes to a 3rd party to make a “dissatisfied with the GOP” statement.

Wow, I never looked at it like that. Very cool analogy. No, Wnston Churchill isn’t NBC of the USA. And, here is the kicker: according to Ted Cruz, Churchill WAS NATURAL BORN. Cruz only focuses on the actual birth. Cruz would literally have to fight for Churchill to be NBC if he thinks he is!
What gets me about Cruz is that he didn’t have any American papers until age 16. Even if he met the law, he sure doesn’t meet the optics. I think NBC means growing up legally American. He entered this country as a Canadian only.

I wish more trusting conservatives would open their eyes to what we have. It frankly amazes me that Ted still has a single remaining supporter in the FR community, given the volumes of information about him which has been widely discussed in these pages.

I have read most of his books, books about him, and even own some Churchill family things. He was a brilliant man, who took the helm of Great Britain when he was needed most. He was a true visionary ( just like Trump ), who could see problems in the distance and tried to warn others, who refused to listen.

I understand the probabilities. It’s the possibility I’m talking about.
As long as a mathematical possibility exists for Ted to attain the magic 1,237, his supporters will expect him to stand and fight. I don’t condemn him, at this point, for acceeding to those expectations.
However - once the mathematical door has closed, I want to see Ted do the right thing for the people, the party, and the nation.
