Keith Richards once threatened to pull a knife on Donald Trump during an altercation that occurred 27 years ago, Vanity Fair learned. The story has come to light through Rolling Stones tour producer Michael Cohl, who explained how Richards almost came to blows with Trump at a 1989 concert as part of the Steel Wheels tour, which is famed for being the reunion of Keith Richards and Mick Jagger.

My favorite Rolling Stones song, oddly enough, has Jimmy Page performing the solo. “One Hit (To the Body).” :-)
Brain damage?
So for the Cruz supports on FR we have the new
Becks’ “Stab Trump for Ted” bump
ping list ;)
didn’t get hit on the head by a coconut falling from a tree? Or did he fall climbing one, i forget
Yeah, that too.
And probably for the same reason.
I doubt the story is true as repeated. But even in the story Keith never threatened Donald Trump. He slammed his knife on a table while arguing with his manager.
Many media stories about the Rolling Stones turn out not to be true. What is true is that Keith was a heavy drug user and was addicted to heroin for several years.
Speaking of trivia questions, I know that question that photo is the answer to! "What do you get if you cross Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders?"
Two things I took away from this story. One, Trump has always been an asshat and two, Keith Richards was most likely a Ben Carson supporter.
Keef’s famous shiv?
No, I'm pretty sure you were right the first time - that mummified corpse was, in fact, Keef. Tut was younger looking.
Wildwood WEED......
Keef,,,,, I’m a guitarist, and Keef isn’t that good a player. But he writes the best guitar licks ever! “Jumpin’Jack Flash”? Brilliant. But he takes off the low 6th string in G tuning. Why? Cuz he gits messed up and would hit it at the wrong time. It’s great to have that low D for turnarounds. Eh,,,,, but it works for him, and I enjoy his playing.

Agreed. He's written probably hundreds of songs using the same chords and yet each is unique and instantly recognizable from the others. Quite a trick. It's all in the licks.
I always thought the drop D tuning was from using a slide. I've been playing around with it lately, it's an interesting twist.
I love the Rolling Stones and they love me. I have millions of Stones that work for me. Keith Richards works for me and I love Keith Richards and all of his family. I have millions of their albums and if you play any of them backwards they say “Trump for President”
I’ve been playing slide since about 1962. Don’t go to Keef’s 5-string tuning! If you do, you’ll miss a lot! Play slide and fingers! I have my bottleneck on my ring finger. That way I can add notes with my pinky above the slide, and fret behind the slide with my index. Lotsa possibilities available!
