Apple and Alphabet/Google joining together? Apple inks deal with Google to use Google's servers for iCloud storage for Apple user data. Don't worry about your iPhone and iPad data security. With the newer iOS devices, all the data being uploaded to the iCloud is encrypted by your device to a 256 bit AES standard using your device's Encryption Key stored in your Secure Element which itself is key to your passcode, which even Apple does not have and cannot decipher, much less Google/Alphabet.
