The Kinks "One for the road"

Deep Purple "Made in Japan"

I'm looking for more.

Jimmy Buffett “You Had To Be There” includes long version of “God’s Own Drunk.”

Any live Allman Brothers album is pretty much a classic.

One reason for this is that the best, definitive versions of some of their top hits are the live ones. They are probably the best live band of my lifetime.

I changed my tagline just for this thread. LOL.

That was a a great album.

Also another great band that did some really good live stuff
was Alvin Lee and Ten Years After.

And I can’t leave out Jon Mayall and “Jazz Blues Fusion”.

In my opinion they were the original Improvisational Jam Band of all time. Duane Allman, no contest.

Well, there's only "One Way Out" for an old tag line. Haha!

Hendrix Band of Gypsies

Especially "Machine Gun," played at midnight on Jan. 31, 1969 ...at the Fillmore West. Probably the most incredible guitar moment of Jimi's career. ...or anyone's.

Hell yeah. Cream Love Vol. II is also worthy of note.

>>The Who, Live at Leeds

Second this. Especially the extended version that came out 15 years or so ago.

This is THE seminal punk rock album in many ways, and may be *the* best live album, period.
