Director Steven Spielberg and star Harrison Ford will make a fifth Indiana Jones film, to screen July 19, 2019, Disney announced Tuesday.
The release from the studio describes a fifth epic adventure in the blockbuster series, adding: Steven Spielberg, who directed all four previous films, will helm the as-yet-untitled project with star Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role. Franchise veterans Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will produce.
Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn called the Jones character one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, adding, Its rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldnt be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.

Sean Connery was only 59 years old in that movie, 1989, he was born in 1930.

Wow,considering how long Connery has been around, I thought he was older then that. Ford is only 12 year younger then Connery!Yup. Connery first played James Bond in 1962 in Dr. No. He was 31 at the time of its release. It's not his first role, but it was his most iconic.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a strange film. I understand and even greatly appreciate what it was supposed to be: if Raiders of the Lost Ark was a homage to the serials of the Thirties and Forties, then KOTCS was a homage to the B-movies of the Fifties. But the execution was
way off. Just like the Star Wars prequels. It was something that looked awesome on paper,
buuuuuuttt...And Lucas could have come up with a better MacGuffin to use than the crystal skull hokum.
