Former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson made a startling admission in a new interview, essentially saying he didnt want to endorse Donald Trump but did so because Trump offered him an advisory role if elected. The admission comes just days after Carson endorsed Trump for the GOP nomination for president.
Carson gave an interview to Steve Malzberg of NewsMax TV. First, Carson said he wished he could have endorsed someone else...

Oh dear. Thank-you so much for your thoughtful remarks.
With friends like Ben, who needs enemies?
Couldn’t agree more!
And you wonder why Trump calls the press.....SCUM
They lie, distort, confuse!
Ben, the man is a salesman and not the honest kind.
I’m sorry
If you’re not used to the rough and tumble here then I apologize
So, you have data that contradicts the quotes in post #13?
I’ll continue to listen to those you listed and boycott you instead.
In other words, Trump made him an offer. Everyone is else is a liar but your guy, whose check is always in the mail.
But a lie is not aloe if you unsay it the next day? That is what Trump does.
18 U.S.C. 599:
Whoever, being a candidate, directly or indirectly promises or pledges the appointment, or the use of his influence or support for the appointment of any person to any public or private position or employment, for the purpose of procuring support in his candidacy shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if the violation was willful, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
I knew all along Carson was a dip $hit.
After being called “pathological” and compared to murderers and rapists I would think he needed to buy him up to get his support.......or then Carson is a total sell out and if so, Trump can have him.
Curious about something else I read where Carson said he had offers from other candidates still on his phone.
Didn’t he initially deny that he was offered anything for his endorsement...?
He just blew the deal. No position because he canceled the endorsement.
His advisory role is to advise himself to be fruitful and multiply, but not in those words. No wonder his campaign imploded.
Ding, ding, ding - we have a thread winnah!
