NEW YORK A history of support for free-trade deals by Ted Cruz and his wife, Heidi, is dogging the senator's campaign in the important "winner-take-all" Ohio GOP presidential primary, especially since the Cleveland Plain Dealer has just reported that the state lost 112,500 jobs last year because of the U.S. trade deficit with countries in the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement.

This is a good article.
Long, but good. Ted Cruz is a globalist.

A pro-Kasich PAC had a Trump ad pulled in Ohio. I read it on an iPhone news thing for a Google app.
2DV.
It’s easy.
Almost everything is not made in the US anymore.
We even import food.
Yes.
Trump is flooding the scene with light so bright it can be seen from space.
We all know that the US is hurtling down. The question is whether we can stop this before we are completely overrun or invaded.
Most of the food we import is either exotic or off season. Most of our foodstuffs still come from here.
Uh huh.
Oranges are exotic. Right now.
Right
Of course the fact that Trump has many, many business interests in the US that employ thousands of American workers is meaningless. Right? :-)
trump outsourced trump products to other countries.
in practice trump is pro-nafta/free trade
Thousands of H1-Bs, H2-Bs and illegals you mean?
I think he is now pro-American on trade.
As a businessman he did outsource some things. But recently he is completely pro-American.
Very much so.
but trump’s products are still being made in other countries. so trump is pro-American trade in rhetoric not in practice
No his hats are made in America.
Do you have a source for your claim he is making things elsewhere?

OK thanks.
I think Donald is completely serious about sourcing a lot more of America’s production back to America.
Two of your articles are pretty dated, and the third is of thinly “Trump” goods. The thing is Trump is a huge name (no presidential candidate in history had anywhere near his wealth).
But thanks for the links.
He is however pro-American on trade policies. Nobody else is better.
Nobody.
if trump actually practiced his rhetoric on trade I would be less of a skeptic.
Chick-fil-a practices their rhetoric in their business. And they are willing to lose a little bit of profit to do so. that is more admirable than rhetoric
Now come on no sour grapes. You know that’s not true. :-)
