The only thing ludicrous is that Constitution Ted isn't explaining the First Amendment rights of those who choose to gather to share their positive views about Trump. Anyone whose goal was to deprive them of that right should not be there.

Are there any pro-Trump supporters disrupting other people's exercise of their First Amendment rights? Maybe Cruz should have the guts spell it out to those whose only goal is to disrupt the exercise of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

grrrr........

People saw what they saw and have also seen the other candidates reaction.

I guess we’ll see on Tuesday whether the coordinated attacks on Trump this past week have been successful

Cruz’a response has led to one endorser, Jan Morgan (a second amendment advocate and investigative reporter) to withdraw her support.

Jan Morgan withdraws her support for Cruz! Now supports Trump!

She posted this on her Facebook page.

“I have officially withdrawn my endorsement and support for Ted Cruz.

His decision to blame Trump for the actions of liberal lunatic protestors in Chicago is unconscionable.

He should have used this opportunity to take a stand for free speech.

Instead, he sides with the protesters and lies about Trump saying he encourages violence. (never mind the fact that his own right hand campaign buddy, Glenn Beck was investigated by Secret Service for joking on air about repeatedly stabbing Trump) (that’s different of course)

This is the most outrageous and desperate thing I have seen a candidate do in this race.

I have made a grave mistake by misreading this man and his character.

This was the final straw in a week of issues I have had with Cruz and his decisions.

Donald Trump will win this nomination in spite of the establishment GOP, in spite of their new boy, Cruz, their old boy, Romney... And, I predict if the GOP establishment tries to jack with the people’s choice, Trump will pull out, run 3rd party, and will still win the general election.

Call me enraged tonight.

I can not believe I fell for this act.”

Political thuggery - that’s how commies roll.

But that’s okay with Ted.

Trump has encouraged physical battery at his campaign events, even telling supporters he’d pay their legal fees if they get arrested for assaulting dissenters.

So McCarthy feels that leftist agitators should be given free rein to disrupt the 1st Amendment rights of a presidential candidate and his supporters, and that said candidate and supporters should just lay down meekly and accept it like Sanders did when the Bowel Movement Matters took over his event.

Trump has said this - AT PEOPLE DISRUPTING HIS EVENTS. Where are the Trump supporters disrupting other candidate's speeches? If any of them did this to a Hillary or Obama speech, they'd be shot dead on sight.

Does McCarthy not understand that by continuously appeasing and acquiescing to leftists, they will keep getting more of the same?

I am amazed to find myself defending Trump, but this really is a bit much, this organized chorus of "he brought it on himself". On the one hand you have occasional exhortations to defend oneself - So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of ‘em, would you? - and a 78-year-old man who threw a punch he shouldn't have, was NOT urged to do so by Trump or anyone else speaking at the occasion, and has been arrested for it. On the other hand, you have a deliberately planned act of mob violence organized by self-proclaimed revolutionaries who are now crowing publicly about shutting down a speaker they don't like.

These are not the same thing. They are not even close to the same thing, and pretending otherwise because it favors a political candidate is not an act of respect for the truth. What we have on the one hand is a few intemperate words; what we have on the other is an act of violent political warfare. Those are the facts, and shading them isn't going to help. And using vague accusations such as "creating an atmosphere" is the act of a coward and a liar.

“which not inevitably begets more rogue behavior and perversely enables thugs to portray their thuggery as justifiable retaliation.”

To anyone with a room temperature IQ who noticed the placards, flags, etc. that the thugs had, it was plain that retaliation for Trump’s impatience with protesters was not what they had in mind. It was retaliation for what Trump says about making America great again and his methods to bring that about.

These thugs were a zoo collection of riff raff who were gathered and sent in to do their job by professional provocateurs.

Does anyone really believe that Bill Ayres was offended by language Trump used with disruptive protesters?

And then shifty Cruz gets up and tries to smear Trump with blame for the entire incident. Then he is joined by little Marco and then the postman’s son.

Hey Andrew McCarthy, if something is not logical, it's not true.

A Trump rally is full of born again Christians. Those people don't beat up anyone and wouldn't be there if they thought Trump did.

Find a better lie to tell.

..., it is wrong to condemn the thuggery Trump often encourages at his appearance

Excuse me NRO. We did not just have Trump supporters violently attack a Bernie rally. But if that had happened, it would be ludicrous to then talk about how Bernie encouraged thuggish behavior as some kind of excuse. Not even Hilary would sink that low.

Forget this bs.

How do you feel about the thugs in Chicago stopping Trump and his supporters their right for free assembly and free speech.

Do you support them or make excuse for them?

Do you support the pro Isis thug who attacked Trump on stage this morning in Ohio?

Bullshit!

McCarthy surely knows that 1) “protesters” exercise their 1st Amendment rights outside a rally and 2) brown-shirt thugs stomp on the 1st Amendment rights of others by crashing into the rally to disrupt and shut it down.

McCarthy should know that the same gangs of Soros sponsored thugs have been engaged in those brown-shirt attacks long before Trump entered the race and given a single speech to offend their delicate ears.

Supporters of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump had formed a line just after noon Saturday outside the Midland Theatre in downtown Kansas City. Trump is expected to speak at the rally that starts at around 6 p.m.

A line started forming several hours early for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz's rally at Evangel University Saturday.
