I am a Trump supporter, tried and true, but had Ted Cruz last night supported Donald Trump, reminded America of the importance of the First Amendment and other liberty-associated notions, I could have easily seen myself supporting him if Trump for whatever reason did not get the nomination. Now, I am more opposed to him than ever.
Trump supporters, it’s true, are loyal to a fault when it comes to Donald and just as loyal to those who defend and support him. Does Ted Cruz even know what an opportunity he wasted last night? It seems like Kasich, Cruz and Rubio have gotten their scripts from the gopE, probably a fruit of the Sea Island accord, and are proceeding full ahead.

I think this episode may expose a problem in the Cruz campaign. His support, although principled, is also a little thin. He doesn’t seem to create the necessary emotional connection to his supporters like Trump does. When things go bad for him, there doesn’t seem to be a rallying that one would expect. Instead, it’s a rush to the exits.

The link was unnecessary because I am familiar with every one of the quotes and disagree with them all. This is America. This is America with the first amendment. The day will come when your speech, however well reasoned and important you think it might be, will be shut down. There's a reason it's the FIRST amendment and there's a reason you're a little fungus vying for bacterial status. You'll make it, just be patient.

That did not happen. Cruz blamed the protesters for their own actions. He did not side with them. This place is getting pretty deep in anti-Cruz (pro Trump) manure.

For starters, anyone posting other than the Trump line, chapter and worse will be dogpiled by multiple posters, commonly posting crap.
I have other things to do with my day than spend it replying to people who won't read what I say, unless they twist it and try to say I said something I didn't, which is a common approach to what Cruz says as well.
One poster even took fragments of sentences from three different posts and kluged them together to present something not only out of context, but different from what I had said. Wow.
Sometimes it is just the same spew, chapter and worse, from a different source, posted over and over.
Not only boring, it reeks of the big lie.
Like "Climate Change" one or two publish and the rest quote each other back and forth to give the story mass it shouldn't have had in the first place. Then all the different 'sources' can be linked...It is the pool-pah tactic (see Vonnegut if you didn't get the reference).
It is an effective way to monopolize the discussion, which is what "the Donald" has been trying to do all along in the media.
So, if we seem 'thin', we don't have the time to sit around whipping up cutesy graphics to burn bandwidth (and some which are frankly out of line), we don't have time to load up every thread with multiple comments like 'Trump is a liar', and we write our own material.
Now, in order to save time, if you read this far, I did not say "Trump is a liar", I just used that for an example.
Are the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer , and George Soros open advocates of the special interests and globalists?
If you agree that they are- Does it bother you a bit that Donald Trump has supported, been friends with, or has a connection with, all of them?
Donald Trump has said that he would force the military to follow illegal orders? Does that give you pause?
While I do agree that Cruz could have done better on the "mob stops Trump's rally" answer, the hysterical demonizing here is just off the rails.
Cruz has a life long record of defending the Constitution-Trump does not. (But, Trump knows and has done very well in business.)
As for the POTUS race -I will say that if Kasich and Rubio do not get out of the way now, -the race will be Trump's to lose.
A two man race would be best for the country IMO. But I doubt that Kasich, Rubio, will do what's best for the country.
You call Cruz lying snake oil salesman, and you say that he's no good and sold out to the globalists.
That would mean he spent his whole life being principled, only to let it all go .
Could be, but I have faith in him that he (Cruz) will do the right thing. He has a life long record that says he will.
I'm still praying that he will be our next president.
