Trump: "A Lot Of What You Saw Last Night Was Obama" (Video)

DONALD TRUMP: President Obama is a great divider. That's what you're seeing here. President Obama has greatly divided this nation.

There is division between black and white. There is division between economic groups.

He has done a terrible job in terms of unifying our country. President Obama should have been -- and had the advantage of being African-American-- of really bringing the country together. And I thought that was what was going to happen. I didn't know if he was going to be a good president. You can never tell. But I could tell you one thing I thought he was going to be a unifier. He has turned out to be a terrible unifier. he has turned out to be a divider.

A lot of what you saw last night was Obama.

Fifty years of paying useless people to breed for cash, and punishing them for marrying by revoking the freebies.

The SA rose to power when Germans determined to preserve their property rights saw them as the only response to communist mobs. It is easy to cast stones at Nazis, but few understand how they arose; very normal people saw them as a solution to problems their government refused to/was unable to address.

That's bullshit and you know it. Neither Cruz/Kasich or Rubio TOOK SIDES with the rioters. THIS is what Cruz said:

"We need to learn to have disagreements without being disagreeable. To have disagreements while respecting human beings on the other side. Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate who is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse."

Deny it all you want, but Cruz is right on this one.

Spin as hard as you want. That is Cruz siding with the rioters. He had a chance to come out and unequivocally condemn the violence and instead he weaseled.

People have tried to disrupt Cruz events.

Cruz has handled this better than Trump.

Cruz did criticize the protesters last night.

Telling supporters to hit the protesters is a mistake and one which will help these protesters.

What I would like to know is if there are any Texas voters out there that just voted for Cruz that are reconsidering their support.

All of it, the tepid intro is merely cover for what is know as a “Yes but”, defense.

Cruz is saying

Yes what was done was wrong BUT it is justified because the victim...

Anyone NOT welded at the hip to a candidate knows that is exactly what this is and will hold Cruz accountable.

Anyone who thought BHO would be a unifier didn’t have a clue about who this guy really was. It was completely clear before his election he would be an agenda-driven divider. Trump’s statement shows that he had (has?) poor information sources.

I'm not welded at the him to any candidate, and if you remove any emotional attachment and just analyze the cold, hard logic of it you have to consider the possibility that the outcome was predictable and Trump did it on purpose.

You think the democRATS will lean across the isle when Trump is president?

You know they won’t. A Republican president will have to have money, guts, friends in high places and the strength to combat what’s coming.

Pray for Trump! Pray that he is the one we need and pray he will bring us back from the abyss.

And the GOPe loved it and tried to take advantage of it.

Next speech, I think Trump should tell his supporters to start going to rallies for Sanders and Hillary and peacefully disrupting every 3 or 4 minutes like their people do at Trump rallies. Tit for tat. Then we'll see how civilly their people will remove the protesters.
