Keith Emerson, keyboardist of Emerson, Lake and Palmer dead of apparent suicide

When I was in high school, none of us had ever heard anything like this music. It was life changing. I will never forget sitting in Bill Barret's trailer in Plainview TX listening to this album over and over. RIP Keith.

I saw the “works” tour with the orchestra at MSG. That was in the Summer of 77. They came back to NYC that October for another concert. Was th row center for that one.

Tragic. The last time I saw Les Paul he joked about being down to playing with three fingers...then he blew the room away with them. I was 6 feet away from Paul and he was indeed playing with just three fingers all night long.
