At a media availability in Chicago, GOP Presidential candidate Ted Cruz blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The rally had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

Calm down, count to 10 and breathe. Screaming and holding up the middle finger is not an excuse for violence in my world. And I haven’t been watching TV for while, but I didn’t see any rioting. I saw cars quietly and safely exiting the parking garage.

I expect to be voting for Trump in November, but some of you nuts are just plain scary with your slavish devotion to the guy. Snap out of the hypnosis. Trump is a man. He needs to be held in check by conservative voters just like every other politician.
Cruz entirely blamed Trump for tonight and totally used the situation to capitalize politically. He was shameless it was so transparent. But what I expected from him.
I found those first comments to be as offensive as the ones placing blame.

I had still expected better of him. A few months ago, he would’ve defended Trump to the hilt. Now that Trump is standing in the way of his life’s fantasy of being President, he’ll sink to blaming Trump for the behavior of trespassing lefty hoodlums.
THIS is a BIG lie, too. Proves what we knew: Ted is a GLOBALIST. An Establishment Washington Cartel Insider, pretending to be something else as a path to power and money.

I used to hope he would become the Veep. I supported him for the better part of a year, even financially. Now I just don’t want to hear from him any more

I think he is going to lose that anyways. He did not get 50% in the primary. I will be glad to see him go.
