The National review is backing Cruz but they say they don't really like him. They admit they only support Cruz as a way to weaken Trump.
From the article:
(Cruz is) arrogant and condescending, a terrible listener and completely uninterested in actually getting anything done that doesnt further his own interests. They see him as a right-wing Arlen Specter a notoriously difficult and self-absorbed senator.

Pathetic Jonah Goldbrick and thanks for posting. No, I will not click through to the National Review to read more of this drivel. I get the idea from the first paragraph.

It’s a good thing that Goldberg specified in the title that he wasn’t talking about Kasich. That is exactly, totally, precisely who I would have thought he was talking about, if he hadn’t clarified. /sarc

Let’s See, last week the RNC establishment was saying they were prepared to either sit out the General or in some instances vote for Hillary CLinton if Trump wins the nomination. Now they are saying, Cruz is there guy to beat Trump and keep Hillary from winning the General. But, last week they were saying they were prepared to directly or indirectly help Hillary win if Trump was the nominee.
Ok???????????? Irony here?

I think it’s clear the so-called Republican establishment is divided. Some of them think Cruz is worse, some of them think Trump is worse.

If saving the GOP is the goal? Then let the whole blasted thing burn to the ground.

arrogant and condescending, a terrible listener and completely uninterested in actually getting anything done that doesnt further his own interests. Is this projection? Didn't they just describe the GOPe?

Savings the GOP means saving the GOPe, and none of those people are worth saving, IMHO.
I don’t understand why people can’t see this.

By the time this is over they gong to have an audience of maybe 250 since they will merely be writing for the other Purity Choir members
