Religious groups in Taiwan are calling for a boycott of McDonald’s after the fast food giant premiered a commercial they say promotes “gay issues."

The minute-and-a-half ad features a boy coming out to his father by writing, “I like boys” on a McCafe coffee cup and sliding it across the table.

“So the waiters there need a rating in CPR as well as hospitality? lol”

It’s a fun place. Kind of pricey but a good atmosphere, right on a private beach with great views and pretty good food. A must visit place if you come to Guam.

That is a mighty big ‘if’ but I appreciate the recommendation.
The Greek and seafood menus look mighty good.

Do you have insight into the Saipan primary? Haven’t heard anything official yet.

“features a boy coming out”

The so-called boy in this video looks to me like he’s in his 20’s, 18 years old at the youngest. And then he writes “I like BOYS”? Like little boys?

This looks and sounds like a child molester.

Ok, what next. Some fat old guy in his 50s writes on a Big Mac wrapper, “I like little boys” and slides it over to a five year old eating a happy meal? And then we all cry with happuness?

The other day I saw a bus go by with a McDonalds ad o the side in Arabic here in California.

Guam is tomorrow (Saturday)too. My guess is Cruz, the Governor endorsed him and Cruz has actually sent people to canvass for him to Guam and Saipan. No other candidate has EVER done that and Guam an CNMI (Saipan)really feel that they are ignored by Washington (I try to tell them that is a good thing to no avail)and just getting a little attention from a national candidate is a big deal.

Voting for the nominee is as close as we get to voting for president

Remember when commercials sold products instead of goofy humor or liberal ideology?

How about sticking to hamburgers?

Ok. Thanks for that. Good move on Cruz’s part to involve the folks there. We will see it if pays off for him.

The father then slid his cup to the son. “Me too’ it said.

I worked for Knott’s Berry Farm when Walter died and saw his greedy children piss on his heritage, I worked for McD’s when Ray died and saw the beginning of the end of what he built, Carl Karcher died and his dream was tarnished with tasteless soft porn ads(hell of a thing for a devout Catholic), we have all seen what became of Disneyland since the death of Walt. There is no name to good or legacy to great to be destroyed by greed and low class.

first burger king, and now mcdonalds- Would be nice if people boycotted BOTH of these restaurants like we used to do- boycotts of levi jeans and ford worked to force them to quit their in your face homosexual agenda- but this was years ago- people today just don’t seem to give a crap any longer

I can’t bring myself to watch the ad.

I do not condone perversion.

2% of the population but you’ll find homofascists among the ranks of the higher positions of corporations including board of directors and CEOs.

This ad isn’t about selling a cup of coffee. It’s about selling a radical political agenda.

Fairies and Communists
Pocket (Books) My Saber Is Bent, Chapter 14 | December 1961 | Jack Parr

There used to be a time when it looked like the Communists were taking over show business. Now it’s fairies. They operate a lot alike, actually; both have a tendency to colonize. Just as there used to be no such thing as one Communist in a play or movie, now there is no such thing as one fairy. Where you find one, you usually find a baker’s dozen swishing around. I had a little game I used to play when I was an actor in Hollywood, back in the days when Communists or Communist sympathizers were nearly as plentiful in the film capital as yes-men. If I spotted someone in a picture who was a Communist or leftist, I could usually pick out several others. They always came in sets. Now I play it a different way. When I hear that some fairy is producing or directing or acting in a play, I can often name some of the rest of the cast, even if I’ve never heard it...

Guy trying to break it gently to his family that he’s gay. At Thanksgiving dinner, he says to his mother, “Could you please pass the gravy to a gay man?” She passes it to his father.

Maybe that could be the next groundbreaking ad, a woman in a burqa slides her coffee cup to her dad or brother or husband. It says, “I like McRibs”.

Now THAT is MARKETING!

I’ve been told by FReepers that they can’t/won’t boycott the corporate Left.

That it’s impossible to boycott them and defund their efforts.

I haven’t watched television since the 2008 election primary, don’t go to the movies, and don’t eat at these fast food chains. Don’t drink coke, pepsi, or eat Lays chips. It’s all a lot of crud you don’t need in the first place. It isn’t hard to avoid McDonald’s. They aren’t even the best burgers out there.

...“The minute-and-a-half ad features a boy coming out to his father by writing, “I like boys” on a McCafe coffee cup and sliding it across the table.”

Ah, those three little wrods every Dad wants to hear.”...

I get so tired of the gay life-style being pushed by every publication everywhere. There are many other life-styles being lived out in this world but only the gay one is pushed all the time. Why? If they get enough power, will they insist that everyone become gay or else? I wonder.

I understand. I didn’t watch it either. Just reading the article made me groan. Wonder how long before they do a states version roll out? Probably feature a “happy” minority son and pop. Good grief!

Hey big corporations! stick to selling product, and stop trying to change the world.
Do you really expect that commercial could get more people to buy your product?
