So you would have me believe that the part of the quote you cut off,

"calling Cruz a child molester, and other Trump posters chiming in agreeing."
had no bearing on you posting this?

"How about being told you do not believe in Jesus Christ if you vote for Trump?"

Sure

And please drop the God Bless, I don't believe you mean it.

You know, you really have a problem.

YOU do not know ME AT ALL!

YOU chose to believe the worst of me.

You do not know where my life has been, what path I have followed. You do not know anything.

Yet you have chosen what you want to believe.

I will pray for you.

Please LEAVE ME ALONE.

He’s not calling all Trump fans “stupid

His complete statement, in context.

Ted Cruz: “Listen, Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice. Where we are beating him is when voters’ get more engaged and they get more informed. When they inform themselves, they realize his record. He’s what they’re angry at. He is the corruption, and if you want someone to stand up to Washington, the only one who has been doing so in this race is me.”

Did he call the Trump supporters stupid? Maybe not directly, but he certainly is very condescending! I resent Cruz assuming that since I support Trump, I have low information and I am not engaged...that if I “inform myself,” I will support him.

I could not disagree with Cruz more on this...Trump was the first candidate to sound the clarion call on immigration, the borders, terrorism and common core. I noticed these topics were the mainstay of the debate tonight. Had Trump not run, we would have had a completely different set of issues. Whether he wins or not, I am grateful that he had the guts to bring up these topics!

“Well, FR has always been an anti-establishment, patriotic kind of place, so it shouldn’t be surprising when you see a large segment of the Freeper community reject a politician who’s been revealed to be a member of the hated establishment.”

It does surprise me when a large segment of FR starts supporting a guy who spent 40 years donating to the very thing everyone on here claims to hate. All because he came out and started throwing around a couple of slogans.

Actually, it's possibly the same website, but I don't often go on Cruz threads here to see what you mean by spamming.

Yes, if you're not on the Cruz threads, you won't see the spamming, and to your credit you don't spam them. But others do.

Kindly show me one of those threads so I can be sure there aren't two different dimensions........

Please see any thread with "Cruz" in the title.

As a big league business mogul, Trump ‘donated’ to politicians and their pet causes, as a condition of doing business. It’s what all power players do, just to keep the wheels rolling.

Don’t want to pay? Well, those road blocks standing in the way of your projects might never be moved. Nice company you’ve got there. Be a shame if some government agency targeted it for special scrutiny.

It’s basically a protection racket and everyone at the top levels of business knows it. So do a great number of voters, which is why we don’t hold it against Trump.

I don’t care. His record is his record. While the some of us on here were fighting the establishment in 2010, 2012, 2014 elections. He was nowhere to be found. But now he’s a champion of the cause? Spare me the BS.

“While the some of us on here were fighting the establishment in 2010, 2012, 2014 elections. He was nowhere to be found. But now he’s a champion of the cause?”

If you’d taken the time to honestly vet Trump over the course of this primary, you wouldn’t be making such charges. You’d know by now that he has always held strongly pro-American values, and (like most of us) has become increasingly conservative during his life.

He really isn’t the newcomer to conservative ideals that some make him out to be. It’s true that he brought a lot of criticism upon himself for some of his public statements espousing support for positions we consider to be liberal. Yep, guilty as charged, and he’s paying the price for having made those comments, by now having a harder time reaching folks like you.

Understand though, he wasn’t a politician when he said those things. He was a citizen just speaking his mind. Just like you and I do. Unfortunately for Trump, he was a famous person then, and people cared enough about his opinion to record what he said. I can only imagine what I myself sounded like twenty, thirty, or even forty years ago. I can almost guarantee you that I didn’t sound like a movement conservative.

Yet somehow, I’m forgiven for having held less than conservative ideals at an earlier age.

The point I’m making is, Trump didn’t suddenly jump ship to the conservative side a year or so back. He’s been saying a lot of the same things since the 80s. Things that are certifiably conservative. You can find it all if you just scratch below the surface.

Nothing you said makes him anti-establishment. Guarantee you if Cruz had given to the campaigns Trump has over the past 40 years, he wouldn’t have stood a chance getting elected to the Senate. Stop acting like Trump’s anti-establishment. Because he’s not.

Trump gave more money to Republicans over the years than he gave to Democrats. He donated to politicians on both sides, because that’s what leading business people have to do, to keep the dirty politicians from harming their companies.

As to Cruz, he was a virtual unknown to most Texas voters when he ran for the Senate. If not for Sarah Palin’s late endorsement, and a cash loan from Goldman Sachs, he likely would have lost to David Dewhurst.

That’s right. The establishment. Where was he when Matt Bevin was trying to unseat McConnel? Oh that’s right, he was donating to McConnell.

I am pretty much aligned with you.

I do think I have looked into the background and found more kindness than I expected by Trump.

I am willing to bet on him to rise to the position and do what he now says. I wish I could expect congress to back him.

well stated onyx...

We all have reached such a state of anger with the people who are ruining our system that sometimes we “over reach” what we might otherwise say.

We’ve had eight months to vet and argue the relative strengths and merits of the candidates. We’ve had twelve debates. More ink has been spilled about this race than any I’ve ever seen.

At this late date, very few remain undecided. No one is going to change anyone else’s viewpoint, now. Only the candidates themselves can do that.

"Yes he could. "

Thank you. Yes, that's correct.

And the long way around the block for sure.

And, all that information is the only documentary proof of being born a citizen of the US.

I'll not argue the obscure legal point of whether it constitutes NBC.

And, don't you think it's important that when a POTUS Candidate is born in a foreign country that the citizenry see that documentary proof? Or, should we accept on face value the assertion of the candidate?

What if Sr. sought and/or obtained Canadian citizenship before he was born?

What if mom did?

Would he then be NBC?

Is it a legitimate legal question?

The new commie PM in Canada, Obama's new buddy, may also have documents that bring up legitimate legal questions.

And all of those questions are the basis of my assertion that he needs to prove his NBC status in the Constitutionally defined means:- US Voters

- States (should they choose to ask)

- US House

- US Electoral College

ANY candidate who fails to jump through those hoops is not eligible.
