The Brody File ^ | 3/10/2016 | David Brody

Posted on 03/10/2016 5:22:05 AM PST by joesbucks

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice.

I see it for what it really is, the party knows its done if Trump is nominated.

Anything to stop Trump, even support someone they HATE...

And, unfortunately for you, you are VASTLY outnumbered.

Its time to eat your peas, your candidate is going down.

“I WANT Trump stopped. If the establishment joins alongside, and UNITES with us to do so, LETS DO IT”

Gope stooges all the way.

At least, unlike lots of other Cruz supporters, you are willing to admit being fully on their team.

And btw, they aren’t joining Cruz. You all are surrendering to them.

We Trump supporters r 2 stuped 2 vote fer Trump, my 147 IQ has limited all my life, on a lowly 3.89 GPA.

I think it Hamilton who said, “When the facts are on your side argue the facts. When the law is on your side argue the law. When neither are on your side pound on the table, yell and call them names.”

This is the point you know you won the arguement.

Rush even denagrates Trump voters on his show.

This is a great strategy!

No “smart” politician insults voters he is going to need voting for him later. Insulting voters is not going to make him more attractive to other voters. If anything, it will demonstrates Cruz has an arrogant elitist attitude toward “the little people” and that is going to be off putting to undecided voters.

This is another example of the political tone deafness of Senator Cruz. He can preach to hia choir, he is going to have a very hard time winning anyone else.

-- If you go to the source, there is a video of Cruz saying exactly what is reported here. --

Much appreciated. I went to the link, but my browser doesn't automatically pick up the videos.

My "if we believe" caveat is generic, sort of a rule of skepticism. Sometimes more, sometimes less skepticism is warranted. I don't trust ANY news report! But usually the ramifications of trusting anyway are negligible, and certainly no harm in adopting a report as true at least for talking purposes.

What a maroon.

Seriously.

And a fraud to boot.

Even Stevie Wonder can see Ted is no “outsider” at this point.

I can give you many, many examples of posts where the response to discussion of Trump’s liberal last actions, words and asscociations was “I don’t care”.

They made a conscious decision to ignore that past. That is their right. Why is it condescending to say they did it?

(Many Trump supporters would insert a “snowflake” or “feline” reference here, I will not)

I may be stupid, but I’m smart enough to know that Raphael is in-eligible to be President.

Dems are painfully stupid. However, they are smart enough to make this an issue should he steal the nomination..

If Cruz was a Bush/PAC operative, why did they run against him? If he is GOPe, why do they fight him still?

If there was no Trump, Jeb would still be in the race. Cruz was never attacking a Bush.

So put aside whether or not he was an operative: It can't be denied Cruz would never put his future in the Republican party or Texas politics in jeopardy by campaigning aggressively against the Bush legacy, which is why I don't understand why some Cruz supporters hate Trump so much. They should be thanking him for eliminating the Establishment frontrunner.

Having once supported Cruz before getting to know him
better, this is very disappointing.

Serial LIAR Cruz had NO PROBLEM signing
on to allow a vote FOR known-SECRET ObamaTRADE.
[and he admitted he did not even fully read it!]

Nor did he have problem lying about this and that
during the primaries.

With this,
Cruz is metamorphosing to scum.

It's not strategy, it's simply unbiased and scientific observation. A quick glance at this thread confirms it.

The Trump phenomenon is based on celebrity and sound bites and attitude. He's Sir Gaga.

I'm not trying to win anybody over. Vote how you like.

Cruz was in the race to split the conservative vote opening a path for Jeb. No one expected a Trump. The Bush family figured the main competition would be a tea party like candidate ergo use Cruz to split that vote.
