New footage has emerged that was taken by one of the passengers in the car with LaVoy Finicum that detail his final moments during an encounter with Oregon State Police and the FBI.

From a law enforcement perspective, it’s preferable to arrest people in small, isolated groups than to try to arrest them at the property where the large group was massed.
Based on viewing overhead video.
He was traveling fast, probably faster then Oregon normal 55 limit. Too fast for conditions (but not death worthy).
My impression from that video is - oops, where did they come from, can’t stop.
Thats exactly the way it seemed to me since I saw the first video. They did not want to take them down there, the anvil was further down the road.
This is not good at all, and all of us, as Americans, should be very worried.
“Another Note: Do not argue with the government trying to takeover your land or they will set up a road block and shoot you to death. “
If you stage an armed takeover of federal property, expect to be dealt with accordingly. I’m not saying who was right and who was wrong, just that when you up the ante it’s going to play out differently.
Lavoy went down like a sack of potatos. Either from an 'eye band' or head shot with a gun or he was Tazed and dropped.
Either way he was on the ground an not a threat.
Were all the bullets (9?) found in him fired at the same time that all the officers perceived the threat of imminent danger?
Or was he intentionally pumped full of bullets while he lay in the snow not posing any physical threat?
You cant have it both ways.
He was braking as he went into that corner. He had time to stop.
In complete ignorance of , apparently, the rest of the video after Finicum is shot.
The other male occupant did say STOP STOP, several times, and yet the COPS kept firing.
Tell me I'm wrong again, but it is IN THE VIDEO, if you'll just keep an open mind and watch the whole thing.
He was hit by THREE bullets, not 9. All three were fired in rapid succession and can be heard clearly on the cell phone video that was released this week. He wasn’t shot again.
Yep the escalation was unbelievable. The only thing more unbelievable is many Americans seem totally ok with it.
FBI's public enemy present day:
I base some of my comments on experience driving a pickup truck (light weight on rear tires) on snow and ice and in winter conditions.
Stopping is sometimes a wish and not a reality.
I’m not suggesting that the other occupant of the vehicle didn’t say that - I’ve never said he didn’t. However, by that point, the cops were going to guarantee compliance by those in the vehicle, so they began shooting flashbangs and teargas or pepper spray. The goal was to make those in the vehicle understand that there was no escape. If these cops were intent on murder, they could have just opened fire on the vehicle and unleashed hundreds of rounds of high-powered rifle ammunition on it as soon as the vehicle came toward the roadblock. That they didn’t do that shows what a lie it is to say the cops just wanted to murder Finicum.
BTTT
“Lavoy went down like a sack of potatos.”
Getting shot will do that to you. It usually shorts out the central nervous system and you drop.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) New charges were added against some militia members who were already charged in connection to the standoff at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge.
All of those charged in connection to the case, until Wednesday, had one charge against them conspiracy to impede officers of the United States. The additional charges filed against some, but not all of the defendants, are as follows:
Ammon Bundy: In addition to the existing conspiracy charge, he is now being with possession of firearms and dangerous weapons in federal facilities and use and carry of firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

ctdonath2 & Vermont Lt - allow me to tell you both why your posts are incorrect.
LaVoy Finicum was loudly & repeatedly shouting back off or shoot me! - BECAUSE THEY'D ALREADY SHOT AT HIM!!!
His adrenaline was up from being shot at. And he was a brave man - daring the back-shooting lying cowards to shoot him, an unarmed man.
It wasn't suicide by cop, because deadly force had already been used. And the ambush roadblock itself was deadly force, too - as defined by the OSP's own rules...
“...So if he was shot why did he not fall from the bullet impact?...”
Have you ever been shot??? I have...I was hit in the leg in Vietnam by an AK-47...I did not go down right away...
It ain’t like you see on TV...
Because they wanted to avoid what happened.
I am no fan of the cops, but these guys did everything wrong.
You’re right. It’s totally sad that so many Americans think that a man should be able to ignore police officers, run from them, nearly kill one of them, then get aggressive toward them both verbally and physically with no consequences whatsoever.
He was shouting “back off or shoot me” at the initial stop. Once he got to the roadblock and got out of the vehicle, that’s not what he was yelling. At that point, he was yelling “Go ahead and shoot me” and “You’re gonna have to shoot me.” Nobody had shot him yet (they had fired rounds at the vehicle that didn’t hit Finicum), not until he reached for his gun, at which point they fired three shots at him.
