Blood-stained knife found buried on OJ Simpson’s estate

A construction worker found a blood-stained knife buried on OJ Simpson’s property “years ago” — and gave it to an off-duty cop who kept it in his home before finally turning it over to police, a report says.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the blade is a folding buck knife, which is now being tested for hair and fingerprints after being handed over to the L.A.P.D.’s Robbery Homicide Division in January.

It will be tested for DNA and other biological evidence at the department’s Serology Unit next week, sources told the site.

Interesting, but it sounds like the chain of evidence is beyond bad. Besides, despite the fact everybody knows the MF did it he was acquitted. Except that some justice was served with a civil judgement and that he’s in jail on a separate and unrelated crime, O.J.’s the Lizzie Borden of our time.

From a legal point of view, it is worthless—O.J. was acquitted, and therefore no matter what evidence surfaces can never be held for the murder. On the other hand, if it turns out to be the murder weapon, the police, the D.A. will at least know for sure that he did it and hopefully learn how not to blow the next big celebrity case.

Well, the REAL killer saw that OJ was hunting for Nicole’s killer out on every golf course he could find (Ha, kinda like Obama does all the time), so he took advantage of the opportunity and buried the evidence to incrimination poor OJ.

So is that off duty cop going to get in trouble? That is highly illegal to just keep it at his house, no?

Why would there need to be “freshly turned soil” to bury a knife? It’s not like it’s a large object. It seems simple enough to just drive the blade straight into the ground, and then step on the hilt of the knife until it goes all the way in. If it was pushed in far enough with the heel of a shoe, nobody would notice it.

“Why was this guy on OJ’s estate. And why was he digging on the estate. And saying he found it there is proved by??? His word??”

He’s a construction worker. . . . Doing construction on the estate, which a lot of times requires digging. And the DNA results will prove if it’s a hoax or not.

I did not know that! Thanks.

On thinking about it, I’d expect that one would have time unloading the property. Indeed, the more supernaturally disposed among us would expect that location to be the site of certain extra normal activity - the ghosts of the aggrieved.

What a joke....Why was this guy on OJ’s estate. And why was he digging on the estate. And saying he found it there is proved by??? His word?? Is he looking for money from the media for his story?

If it has the victim's blood and DNA on it, it makes no difference how he found it. It is the murder weapon. Chain of custody.... yadda yadda yadda....

Double Jeopardy! Video of OJ killing those two folks wouldn't make a difference because he has already been tried for the capital crime.

doesn't matter because OJ can't be tried again due to double jeopardy laws.

Kato let on there were so many different hangers-on and dealers constantly going in and out of OJ’s guest house, chain of custody is about zero.

It wasn’t until he retired in late January that he decided to contact a friend in the homicide division — and tell him how he was getting it framed on his wall. He was forced to eventually hand it over to the LAPD.

The cop purposefully kept it secreted away until he retired. Don't suppose his retirement can now be taken from him. Maybe charges brought for withholding evidence though the case was closed. The chief should at least put a tail on him and ticket him for every time he jay walks, doesn't come to a full and complete stop at stop signs and goes the least bit over the speed limit. If he did this, then what else did he cover up while on the job? Sounds like a dirty cop.

True, it won’t matter since OJ was aquitted. But he is scheduled to be released from prison next year. He may want his knife back thought

he took advantage of the opportunity and buried the evidence to incrimination poor OJ.

Furthermore, the REAL killer was almost certainly a white man who was trying to frame OJ for being uppity, and speaking truth to power or something. Just another case of Da Man holdin' a brutha down.

As guilty as OJ may be, I doubt the story. Looks like a scam artist working a con.
