I was looking for the Romney speech live and found a note on his Facebook page to "Watch my speech on the state of the 2016 presidential race LIVE on Facebook at 11:30 AM, ET."

Can't find the Facebook link but LOL'd at the comments he is getting. Perhaps some Freepers could add to the discourse??

Romney reading a prepared speech by the GOPe speech writers throwing every possible piece of mud at Trump from a TelePrompTer. Head going side to side reading the words but nothing from the heart.

Trump will speak from the heart.

Dang, I’m a little late to the party and I missed the speech. If anyone finds a link to the video, please ping me. Yes, I have had my shots and I will wear my protective undergarments.

Traitor Romney, who threw last two debates against Obama and let him win, is now puppet of rotting GOP establishment.
Watch the start of yuuuuge offensive against Trump, watch the quotes from Romney “speech” being bombarded by media.
Trump - bad, bad, bad.
Idiots - good, good, good

Ineligible (shhhh) Cubans Cruz and Rubio “saviors” of new world order America.

SIIIIICK!!!

Good heavens. Mitt just stepped on a hornet's nest. That certainly brightened up my morning!

We're all accustomed to watching politicians do stupid things pretending to be regular guys - throwing a football in a white dress shirt, riding a girl's bicycle in spandex bought from Fredericks Of Hollywood, etc, etc. On the Internet, though, that will get you eaten alive. Welcome to Thunderdome, Mitt!

Also on Twitter. Many are saying too bad he was not tough enough for Obama like he is with Trump.

Mitty wants us to support either Rubio, Kasich, or Cruz. That in itself tells me alot.

To them Trump is a bigger threat than anything. Because if he wins the folks pulling the strings and padding their pockets by selling out America lose their influence. They would rather have Hillary and even destroy the GOP completely before They see Trump in th White House.

The more they make Trump the enemy the better his odds are of flat out winning the nomination outright.

They are so out of touch it’s rediculous

I hope and Pray--and urge all here to join me in this;-- and further to anyone who can reach Trump personally, to do so; that he consider to use this as an opportunity to score a knockout on the Republican establishment! How?

A. To continue his much more Presidential tone--as on the Tuesday night victory speech, two days ago. To not use nasty words, but firmly, yet kindly, to point out all of the obvious mistakes that Mitt made--in short to by his tone, outdo Romney on sounding Presidential; firm, but again, not antagonistic.

B. To follow up with a reusable half hour broadcast, in which he quietly and in a statesmanlike manner shows clips of Romney's speech, and carefully responds in a firm, friendly, but kindly, way to explain how very wrong Mitt is. In other words out class him, without appearing to even intend to do just that.

This indeed is true opportunity. But Trump needs to outclass Romney in appealing to reason. The more Presidential, reasoned, yet firm as well as kind that Trump can sound in response, the more new people he can win over, by demonstrating how really firm is his Trump's grasp of what is needed.

In other words, speak as one who understands far better than Romney what is really needed today.

This is an audience building--building on the already huge Trump audience--moment. It should be played with skill, not anger. It is a chance to deliver a near death blow to the dirty tacticians in the Beltway establishment.

Yeah, when Romney invokes your name in an attempt to overturn a Presidential election, it doesn’t look good.
If anything Romney just outed Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich as GOPe stooges.

Kasich is going to have a real hard time living this down.

Trump will speak from the heart.

Let us hope so. But he needs to be nuanced, like I suggest above. This is a tremendous opportunity to shatter the confidence remaining among those trying to smear him. It could be a beautiful, historic moment.

Just great. This zilchburger speech story knocks out whatever pittance of coverage Hillary's IT dude generates with his gift of immunity.

Thanks for nothing, Mitt. And I may have been one of your biggest defenders in the past.

People have to see through this NWO UNIPARTY and group together. Otherwise, it’s one party rule for generations to come.

We’re beyond that. I sent him, via two different back channels (one through a U.S. senator friends with Sessions) and a second route, a two-page memo based on Ronald Reagan’s “transition to the presidency,” 1980-81. This was original research material I gathered a couple of months ago in the Reagan Presidential Library.

RR started in MARCH 1980-—long before he was even assured of winning the nomination, let alone the election-—to prepare his budgets and his action teams. Ed Meese was appointed Director of Transition in either June or July (haven’t looked at my notes) either right before or right after the GOP convention and by August they had eight major teams working on all major issues. They had a budget drawn up by FEBRUARY 1981, before Congress started on the 1981-82 budget.

They had ALL cabinet level positions vetted and sworn in the day after Reagan’s inauguration!

I impressed on the Trump team that they need to plan to take over the presidency, and to fix the country, NOW. If they wait until January 2017, it’s too late. The memo GOT DELIVERED.

Why would Mittens give a speech like that? He had nothing to gain from it. The owners of the GOPe must have something really big and devastating on Mittens - a real “bombshell!”

Mitten’s magic underwear won’t help him weather the storm that’s coming his way.
