Donald Trump donated $30,000 to homosexual activists, including a $20,000 grant to an organization that promoted "fisting" to middle school students, recommended books excusing homosexual pedophilia, and proclaimed its mission is "promoting homosexuality" in the public schools to children as early as kindergarten.
According to a 990 form filed with the IRS, the Donald J. Trump Foundation donated $20,000 to the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) in 2012 and another $10,000 to Gay Men's Health Crisis.

Actually, these kind of crazy smears, the hysteria of his opponents, and the wailing and gnashing of teeth are solid indicators that the uniparty realizes he’s the threat.

Our rights to freedom of worship, speech, and self-defense are under assault. They are especially under assault by abortionist and homosexual groups.
The next president will keep or change policies regarding marriage, abortion, homosexuality in the military, and appoint judges who may tip the balance of power.

I read that too. Trump has done many commendable things. Much of his philanthropy is among them. However, this is an egregious oversight (at best). GLSEN is like NAMBLA but just better organized and more pro-active.
Trump has been using the same tactic as Obama did to get support. He is a blank slate. He is what people want him and imagine him to be. He does not have an underlying philosophical view of conservatism. He simply identifies as conservative. Whether he will govern conservatively is, at best, a gamble.
I was fairly supportive of Trump at first. Now I really hope Cruz can beat him because I am starting to see that Trump will probably do tremendous damage to the conservative cause if he is elected president (and we can’t afford to have Clinton or Sanders in after the past seven years of destruction). Three things made me change my mind about Trump:
1. He praised Planned Parenthood.
2. He viciously, dishonestly attacked the most conservative candidate in the race.
3. He said he could work with Pelosi and Reid.
These little tale-tale signs made alarm bells go off for me big time. It is POSSIBLE Trump will govern conservatively. It is a YUGE gamble though. One I would prefer not to make. I am voting for Cruz in Texas tomorrow and taking other family members to do the same.

I support Cruz. I would have dropped him like a hot potato immediately, if it turned out he gave to GLSEN or praised Planned Parenthood for their “wonderful” work.
Trump could have a picture of him and coach Jerry Sandusky together and a lot of people wouldn’t care.

There is NOTHING bigger than the wall. We lose immigration, all the great issues that you list:
marriage, abortion, homosexuality in the military, and judges, wetlands policy
WE LOSE ALL OF THEM - AND PERMANENTLY.
Not only do we lose them, or children lose them, and OUR GRANDCHILDREN LOSE THEM. I WILL NOT be part of that - the country can tolerate 4 years of Trump - it CANNOT tolerate 50 years of Democrat ONE PARTY RULE.

Perhaps he did what so many here do - looked at the name and decided it sounded like an OK place to help out - nice try....but really cheap shot unless you know if it was him or a financial manager that made the decision and what info was looked into before the donation was made - but that doesn’t really matter to some because them pesky facts usually end up belying your purpose....
I got to agree with you I wish he hadn’t.
I am past furious about that filth being foisted on America’s children by Obama’s appointee. We have to get the Government, PP and these perverts out of our schools. Children deserve a childhood and the chance to develop a moral compass before someone tries to seduce them down a dark path and its up to us as parents and grandparents to see that they have that chance.
Trump did apparently support a variety of groups, as a businessman, in the interest of even handedness, but I wish he had dug deeper into the group first, just like his support for PP based on “woman’s health” was swiftly dialed back when he say the videos and looked into the statistics of their operation. Many people have been stung by innocuous names. Any one who supported the Peace Corps must feel some shame about the stain of rape & volunteer abuse they helped support.

Exactly. The problem throughout this thread is the blind rage some of his backers -- once again -- are showing at the first hint of criticism. Had any other candidate's associates donated to such an organization as GLSEN, they'd be screaming from the rafters.
