Trump is a buffoon, and his endorsers, like his supporters, will come to regret this epic lapse of judgement.

Nope, you got it wrong. Trump said something to the effect that when newspapers wrote untrue things, damaging things against a person, then that person could and should sue the paper for damages. And I think he used the NY Times as a prime example.

I supported Cruz. I don't trust Trump.

Will's piece, however, did NOTHING to persuade anybody of anything. In fact, it reinforces the "we elites were just minding our own business running the country when a boor comes over and knocks over our canasta table. Those who laugh with teh boor are gonna be sorry. You'll see!"

Not a HINT that good people ike Phyllis Schlafley and Jeff Sessions have legitimate concerns about illegal immigration and bad trade deals. There was a time when a peace could have been made, if the "ruling class" types wanted to make a deal. They don't. We won't.

Personally, I think Cruz would excise a lot of the problems more effectively than Trump would. But Trump has picked up on a vibe that is more than anger, it is of BETRAYAL. And I've got news for Mr. Will: It is not just the "poorly educated" that have this sense. I don't like the idea of doing "deals" with Donald Trump, because he is a clever man who wants to get the better end, at my expense. But I certainly understand those who are willing to take a shot at him righting some serious wrongs and getting some palookas on the wrong end of the deal for a change.

George Will is to journalism what the GOP elite establishment types are to the Republican Party....out of touch with the electorate.

Will is no conservative.

And I’m going to enjoy watching him melt down completely when Trump wins the nomination.

I am not a fan of George Will and did not read his column. I don’t need Will’s advice to know that the alleged Conservatives will come to regret supporting Trump when there is a true conservative in the race.

“Trump vows to use litigiousness to improve the accuracy and decorousness of public discourse.”

FINALLY. The GOPe and the left has ALWAYS SAID that the public ABHORS bickering...now Trump will end it. Why are they complaining?

As far as accuracy, I’m not about to defend the Mainstream Media after what happened in 2004, when Dan Rather attempted a COUP against President Bush, and Bush was only VERY LUCKY to have survived it. Rather should have been JAILED FOR LIFE for that - in any functional country, he would have. But no, not here, he’s considered an ‘elder statesman’.

Hopefully Trump makes them FINALLY start to report the news, rather than lobby against Republicans and ESPECIALLY CONSERVATIVES.
