Cruz's statement was an endorsement of Rubio, whether you like it or not.
No, he didn't speak the words, "I endorse Marco Rubio for president", but that was a supportive endorsement, just the same.

I seem to recall when Jimmy Carter said he like Trump more than Cruz, you oh so intellectually honest Cruzio people screaming that “JIMMY CARTER ENDORSES TRUMP”.

Many would deem that Cruz really did give a casual endorsement—right after the last debate. First interview out of the gate, and he states that he and Rubio would be better presidents than Trump.
You may not consider that an endorsement, but it certainly was very deliberate and supportive. Words matter, and he has clearly thrown his support to Rubio.

I knew that the idea of Cruz being asked to endorse Rubio was just on the horizon Cruz sort of invited it...and it is now here...So where are all the Cruz supporters going to go?
