My furnace is actually running fine. It is when the burner finishes up (it does finish it's cycle no matter how high I set heat) and the blower runs for about a minute more after and THAT is when the white smoke appears. I am thinking it is either latent oil from cycling so much for two days and "nozzle" leak or some pressure difference...Looking forward to freepers input.

I think your furnace is trying to surrender.

Flame sensor?
I had a gas furn that had the ‘would light then shut off problem’ it was a dirty flame sensor. The furn would light but the sensor would not recognize the flame so it would auto shut off

Is your oil tank underground?
Sounds to me it is water in the fuel

Checked the tank (via my measuring stick and water test gunk).. Nothing showed up.

Blower running “hot” or “low”?

Where is the white smoke coming out of?
To: Bulwinkle
Replaced that piece. I don’t have the actual “light sensor”, just a high limit switch. open at 190, closed at 150.

It is coming out of where the electrodes and fuel nozzle are inserted and filters through “the pump” via the air dial.

Better than black smoke. That happened to us last year, also with a Beckett. We replaced it.

I had a gas furn that had the 'would light then shut off problem'...I did too. My problem, it turns out, was that some ******* little bug crawled up the gas line going to the burner during the summer, and built a nest in there. A safety device in the gas valve realized there was a problem, and wouldn't let it stay lit.

Call a professional furnace repair guy who actually knows something - else it could get very expensive very fast.
