Granted that the debate rhetoric was punishing. However, the stated fact that Cruz would support Rubio over Trump just goes ta show ya....that at the end of the day the 'LAWYER POLITICIANS' only know how to stick together. Really Cruz? You would go with Open Borders rather than get past your personal animus?
To think many of us considered a Trump/Cruz ticket...Cruz duped a lot of people...
Cruz’s statement is nothing short of a GOPe endorsement and a signal to all Cruzbots to turn to Rubio and the GOPe for Tuesday’s vote...Cruz knows he’s toast but is trying to save the Party...
That has to be a shocker to all those Texans who elected Cruz on the promise of a closed border...

Trump has already overcome those things...That why his poll numbers are so hi...It's just those who are trying to justify voting for the GOPe who are worried about Trump's past baggage...
We all have baggage we carry around and at the time of picking up the baggage we found reasons to justify it...Using someone's past baggage to influence an opinion is just more baggage...
