Actually breakfast cereals are some of the most nutrient-dense foods you can buy because they are highly fortified with added vitamins and minerals. The problem with them is that most are loaded with sugar to make them palatable.

isn’t that what Trayvon was mixing up before he got shotted?

But the box is made out of cardboard, a good source of fiber.

Rice Krispies for me. But thanks to Obama, now it’s the generic brands.

Congratulations! You must feel lots better. How long did it take you to get over the sugar cravings, etc.? I’m doing the same, but have just begun!

“ever run out of milk and try water or condensed milk on cereal? It is not awesome.”
How about Budweiser?

Interesting. My parents opposed kids’ cereals with tons of sugar, like Sugar Pops, Fruit Loops and Frosted Flakes. Thus, I had Cheerios and Raisin Bran all the way through college and then adapted to cappuccinos and bagels.
My nieces and nephews in Sweden east gallons of plain yogurt along with toast and coffee in the mornings.

I do remember the big breakfast flashing up on the screen, which seemed de rigueur for a cereal commercial at the time. But since I grew up with breakfasts looking like this, I did not think too much of it.

Bacon requires no cleanup. Just use the same pan everyday. Place cooked bacon on napkin and eat right from napkin.

one time at work I had no money for lunch so I found some ketchup packs in a drawer and tried to make hobo-tomato soup. It was as good as you might expect

I stopped eating cereal because I realized it wasn't actually food. Iâm no longer eating grains or sugar, and if you take away the grains and sugar, all that's left of cereal is the box.
Agreed. At least the cereal box may have some dietary fiber.

Why aren't millennials eating cereal? Apparently, it's just too much work. Almost 40% of millennials surveyed by Mintel said that cereal was an inconvenient breakfast choice, because they have to clean up after eating it, reports the New York Times.
They're using the wrong words. The cleanup thing is idiotic. The millenials are saying it takes too much time. You have to SIT THERE and eat it. Is that work? I don't think it's the same thing.

You must have forgot the pickled pig’s foot.

I eat Rice Chex with bananas and strawberries, or maybe just strawberries, or maybe just bananas, every day, and it’s the high point of my day. It’s like sex, or like sex used to be ... but that’s another subject.

I grew up around cereals, both sets of grandparents, worked in Battle Creek, my mother’s side for Post, and my dad’s for Kellogg’s.
