Bacon requires no cleanup. Just use the same pan everyday. Place cooked bacon on napkin and eat right from napkin.
Eegad, I bet your range is a nightmare. I love bacon as much as the next person, but it is a PITA to cook & clean up after, even using foil as a spatter screen. In an ideal world, frying stuff should be done outside, imho.
(I used to have these great instructions for doing bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven, but it went with my hard drive before I ever had a chance to try it. If anyone knows how to do this, could you post it please?)
