Eegad, I bet your range is a nightmare. I love bacon as much as the next person, but it is a PITA to cook & clean up after, even using foil as a spatter screen. In an ideal world, frying stuff should be done outside, imho.
(I used to have these great instructions for doing bacon on a cookie sheet in the oven, but it went with my hard drive before I ever had a chance to try it. If anyone knows how to do this, could you post it please?)

Back bacon, what they mostly eat in the British Isles, has a lot less fat than bacon made from pork bellies. Their pork belly bacon is generally called “streaky bacon”.

I’ve tried cooking bacon different ways and up until recently my favorite was doing it in the oven until I saw this at Walmart one day and decided to try it on a lark. I love it. Unlike the old, ribbed microwave trays it’s really easy to clean and stores compactly. It make better bacon than the oven.
