The Lands End blue collar shirt is unbeatable anywhere for any price for length of wear and value. They have been a good source for years. Sorry to hear they have gone around the bend like this. Oh well. There’s always LL Bean.

If I were CEO of a company I would not honor people, I would observe historical events or things.
Good grief...acknowledge medical breakthroughs, or transoceanic flight, sports achievements, or anything else pretty innocuous.
How many more shirts, blouses, slacks, skirts, and sweaters will they sell by seizing upon a polarizing topic? Seems silly.

J.C. Penney can’t meet Land’s End quality.
I loved that stuff-—and the local Sears has a small Land’s End shop inside.
Use LL Bean——and they donate to Repubs.

If you’re honoring Gloria Steinem, it’s definitely the end of something...probably your business.

LL Bean has superior quality and a great return policy.

I commented on their Facebook and twitter pages yesterday. The Facebook comments are awesome. Parents of kids in parochial schools and pro-lifers are voicing their disappointment. My husband also called them yesterday. I was really rattled by this and their need to go political in a clothing catalog, helping to fund the ERA, and highlighting someone who is so polarizing. I have spent so much money at their website and at Sears. My husband is tall and thin and I can't find clothes for him by just walking into Penney's and buying it off the rack.

Land's End has been a leftist-supporting outfit for a long time. Maybe for all of its existence.
I don't remember how I discovered this, but as soon as I did, our family stopped buying from them.
We support L.L. Bean. They not only have fantastic customer service, but their owners are pro-life -- an oddity in Maine.

I’m with you, yuuuuuge Lands End fan, but won’t do business with them now with this management/communications/advertising team.

The new CEO is some Italian Euro trash supposed to give some hotness to the Sears brand, which is American. I was about ready to buy some spring things!! Not now. The shoes are made of Planned Parenthood scraps-—

I’m still wearing Land’s End tank tops from 20 years ago and they look great. A couple years ago I wanted some in other colors so ordered the same tops — or so I thought. They were crap. Cheap and thin.
Ditto for a couple of Land’s End dresses from long ago, too. The new stuff is junk.

Sad they feel the need to do this. I would prefer to profile staff personnel if they must “showcase” people. Give recognition to people that matter to the business!

I always get Lands End confused with Territory Ahead because their both sort of geography terms. Territory Ahead has some great clothing and jackets but the prices are usually premium.
