Thank you!! I’ve never seen that movie and the author of the novel based plot, “Simulacron” is not familiar but the time 1964 the novel was released fits in the time line. Will check out the local library when next visited. That just might be the answer. Do remember a portion of the book and a man and woman driving, she sleeping, he driving when suddenly there is absolutely nothing on the road ahead. This scenario found on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thirteenth_Floor Your baroq piece price will be mailed at the earliest possible convenience :-)) Again, thanks a bunch!!
You might be correct. Thank you. The novel on which this movie based the plot was released in the approximate time frame. Will check out the book on the next trip to the local library.

The movie is OK. But it does have Gretchen Moll who is a knockout.
Screwtape was my introduction to Lewis. I have all his books now. I taught a high school bible study on Mere Christianity.
Lewis was amazing.
Parts of the movie might have been seen. After years of searching for the name of the novel, happy just to be able to read the book again. Really sucked as the few facts remembered were the many levels of virtual reality and the fact the main character was driving when he found absolutely nothing but darkness ahead. Memory is strange in what is remembered and what might be flushed. If given the opportunity to see 13th floor I’ll gladly view. But from what your statements claim. it might be a disappointment. Nice to have two options to become acquainted to the story again.
Thank you. I’ll be checking this one as well when taking the library trip. The piece prize will be broken in order to send a piece to you should this title prove correct. :-))
Resolution seems to suck. I’ve been spoiled, I guess, by the crisp photorealism of Fallout 4.
There's a good performance by Armin Mueller-Stahl as the lead scientist slash Albert Einstein look-a-like.
The ending is also interesting in that it can be interpreted multiple ways.
Thanks. I’ll check it out
The movie “The Thirteenth Floor” is based on “Simulacron-3” by Daniel F. Galouye.
Thanks OT, caught that and now hope to catch it on the next library jaunt. Wish me luck!
