Homosexuality is not normal. It's not normal for a member of any species to behave in such a manner that would cause the entire species to go extinct if the behavior is widespread.
My father-in-law was an alcoholic. Now, by the time I met him, he was dry, and was dry 35 years when he finally passed of old age. There MAY well be a genetic link to THAT (although in MY experience...the drink is the top 10th of the dyfunction under the water line...you don’t deal with your demons and hid them with drink...you are just what my father in law called a “dry drunk”.
My father-in-law fought it every day for 35 years. His BODY and MIND would tell him “hey, this feels really fun!” But his SOUL could say “I know better...it’s not good for me or those I love.”
Point being, even if there was a genetic link...never, not once did I say “You know, you can’t help it at all. God made you this way, and it would be a sin to fight it! Here! Let me buy you a beer to show I approve of your lifestyle and love you for it!”
It’s not genetic. It’s congenital. A gay man’s brain physically resembles a woman’s brain in certain key areas.
In other words, homosexuality begins in the womb. That means that it is preventable if you can change the conditions in the womb. The idea that it is generic is idiotic as nature would be programming a species to annihilate itself. That’s sheer lunacy.
It is probably not possible or helpful to push children in that direction. You have to wait until puberty.
