I just researched "General Pershing and Muslims" on Bing. On that page they have where images come up, there were several images of old newspaper stories, they look to be reporting the events soon after they occurred, that relate the story as Trump told it. Interestingly, I couldn't source the full stories, a message "story has been pulled" came up.

A good way to get accurate information is before it has been skewed to what they want us to hear. Anything current says it's "urban legend" without mentioning those original articles. Considering the era and the brutality of the war in the Philipines, I suspect the story has at least some truth to it.

Trump is correct, again, so it seems. But that bit of history will probably disappear. I wonder if someone is in a position to actually check the archives for those original newspaper stories about WW1 in the Philipines.

I researched it long time ago. Could not find that J.J. Pershing true or not. But, it aapeared that the Brits actually did and they found out that the Moozies fear that more than anything.

I always heard that General “Black Jack” Pershing threw a bunch of dead Muslims in a hole and poured pigs blood over them. And that’s why we didn’t have any trouble with the Muslims for about 70 years after that.
