“Visiting Antarctica has been on my bucket list since before I knew what a bucket list was.”
One way to do that if you do not have unlimited funds but do have patience and time is to hang out at the port in terra del fuego that runs the cruise ships for antarctica. There are always cancelations and if you are quick and have cash on hand you can get on the cruise ship for half to a third price.

I’m sorry. I like Enya (and her sister, Moya Brennan), but this *particular* song always reminds me of some commercial or other. Was it some kind of sugar free lemonade or something...?

I was never a fan of New Age music, and didn’t listen to any radio stations that played it, so I didn’t know anything about Enya. It took a year or two for me to track down that “Sail Away” song I heard so often over the speakers at the supermarket. Heh. It’s a real favorite now.

I only have a couple of her albums (one is a “best of”), but they are so good. Thanks for the recommendation of Dark Sky Island; I will have to check it out!

I saw a program once about a train that went from from Churchill almost to the North Pole. Not sure why it intrigued me. I like warm weather. But some day I want to take the Churchill train.

While Enya is technically in the New Age category, she isn’t New Age. Her sound has always been based on the “wall of sound” from the 60’s.
