Trump Leads Rubio by 6 Points on the Eve of the South Carolina Republican Primary – 31-25%

A day away from the South Carolina Republican Primary and things are looking interesting. Donald Trump holds a 6 point lead, but Marco Rubio seems to be nipping at his heels, trailing 31-25%.

Donald Trump leads in support among most demographics, with some fluctuation among income levels. Rubio and Ted Cruz are well within striking distance, but it appears as though Donald Trump will win the South Carolina primary. He may not win by much, but the state awards 29 delegates to the statewide winner, while each Congressional district winner receives 3 votes per district. A Trump win by a significant margin statewide would probably mean he walks away with 44-50 delegates, leaving the rest of the pack 6 delegates at most

I don’t see you posting your guesses on the thread showing Trump 44%, Rubio 22%, Cruz 15%

Well if Hillary picks Castro. Were going to have to pick somebody to equalize that. I am sure there are other Latinos but can’t think of any at the moment. I think most Americans would want Rubio over Cruz. However, there are better Latinos then both of them.

“Haven’t you heard? He’s the “new JFK”.”

The picture of Rubio, Gawdy, Haley, and Scott made a big impression on voters. I bet Hillary and Bernie HATED that picture. lol.

See the Trump nosedive in the past week here.

Rubio seems to be picking up Trump's votes, since Cruz is flat.

Depends which poll you look at - they are all over the place. But I agree Rubio is gaining.

I don’t like that one bit.

We better not end up with that RINO.

The best surprise poll so far was the “Bush at 20% in New Hampshire!” poll.

My guess is that Rubio will be Trump’s VP pick.

Trump’s debate performance hurt him and I’m afraid it will show up in the vote tomorrow.

It is so interesting how two intelligent people (your more intelligent then me, but I am decent :-) I listen to Rubio and especially discussing Amnesty and I see that he learned from the American people that dealing with immigration won’t happen until proof happens with building the wall, more border security, Everify and other things. It seems like Rubio learns his lessons. For example, Rubio fell hard in New Hampshire and had a horrible debate. But instead of acting like a baby, he took responsibility for it and acted accordingly while in South Carolina by getting back up and wiping himself off. A lot of people (Bush) would be going around all depressed seeking pity.

That does not mean I am voting for Rubio.....it is Trump for me.

This firm had Trump over Rubio in NH 29-18, when in fact Trump beat him 35-10.

If he does it will immediately take immigration off the table as a prime subject. Hard to believe SC voters do not care about the money, violence, financial burden and job loss that comes with illegal immigration.

It means they don’t care.

Sorry - Should also say we left Florida some years ago for Arizona, which we love. :)

But lived in Boca for 20 years. It just wasn't the place we wanted to raise our children.
