The Waldo PD was disbanded mainly because of the Speed trap mess.
However there is still plenty of speed zones that are watched like a hawk.
Just went through there mid January on my way from NC to Gainesville.
That drive requires patience, undivided attention, light foot. Speed zones galore.
I-10 to I-75 best bet.
Tell her to be careful or do as I did on the way back to Jax and beyond.
Took I-75 to I-10 and zoom. Farther but trouble free and about the same time..

That may be a good idea. If it takes the same amount of time, it may be better for her to stay away from the area completely. Thank you.

BTW. If she is using I-10 to I-75 and is using a Garmin, DO NOT take the ‘shortcut’ through Live Oak as it wants to route you.
Stop light EVERY block. Catch one and you catch them all.

Don’t ask me how I know.:(

Just watch your speed in Tifton, Georgia!

Huge speed trap area.

And they use some method there (from a parked patrol car) that does not set off my Escort laser/radar detector.

Not sure the method but both wife and I have been ticketed there for 10 over with no Escort alert. And they came down the on-ramp to do it both times. It wasn’t a pace or aircraft.
