I’ve asked but no one willing to answer yet, what percentage of the vote would be considered a disappointment for Trump?

I'm not a statistician. My guess would be if Rubio beats Cruz that would be noteworthy. So would any of the other three....Jeb, Kasich, or Carson breaking free of the other two. If anyone comes within striking distance of Trump the media will declare that person to be the winner.
One thing forsure. There will be a lot of spin from all of the campaigns.

Any percentage that’s lower than somebody else’s.

I've asked but no one willing to answer yet, what percentage of the vote would be considered a disappointment for Trump? If Trump gets 34%, and Cruz gets 19% the gope will say that they under performed while their boy marco gets 17% comes in third and will be declared the winner of the insider race.
It depends who is doing the spin.
I think the Trump camp would be pleased with 34% in a 6 person race.

what percentage of the vote would be considered a disappointment for Trump? You could ask their campaign. I would think if he underperformed the RCP average by three or more. While you're at it, ask the Cruz campaign if it would be a disappointment to finish third, while Trump out performs the polls.....

A losing one. This is the big lie in the Media, that Trump winning, unless it is a double digit grand slam is a “lose” for him. NO, that just more media “feed the horse race mentality” nonsense.
