Maybe. Perhaps. Not indicated.
Just checked again. No date on the article, but Google brings up the date as 2015.
Thanks. I’ll ask the Mods to add that to the Headline
Now you tell me, just when I was about to trade in my 57 Bel Air. Guess I’ll have to put another couple 100,000 miles on it.
Thank you! The first thought was “Link” to avoid. Nice list though.
And I’m pretty sure the Compass and Patriot are gone for 2016 also.
FWIW
I believe the only new Jeep with body on frame construction is the Wrangler.
Other Jeeps are no more rugged than any other vehicle, and may be a bit costly for their specs. Modest vehicles easily pass 150K miles, but by then they almost always have many very annoying small problems.
Thanks for the list. BMW 7 series? Why? Pretty innovative stuff in it.
Thanks for posting the list instead of having to click thru the malware. ;o)
Thanks. Just asked the Mods to add 2015 to the title.
However, people are buying last year’s models now, so still might want to check it out
BMW 7 series cars have been quality/maintenance nightmares since their inception. No idea why. Too complex? The 3 series cars are pretty good compared to the 7s.
I think that was one of the complaints - they were overwhelmed with the complexities
2016 will be the last year for the Lincoln MKS.
Fiat/Chrysler/Jeep leads with 5 of the 15. 2 each from Ford, Nissan/Renault and Mitsubishi. One from Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, GM, and BMW.
Looks like Toyota and Honda are still the best bet, followed by the Koreans.
Haha! Former CJ7 owner here. Can’t vouch for the newer models as far as reliability but the complaint on the Jeep Wrangler that it gets noisy at higher speeds?... Seriously? Hello?...
Gee, it probably gets too bumpy when it’s not on pavement as well. But then again, the folks who can afford new Jeeps these days are not the sort who would dare take them off road, I suspect. Probably even slow down to a crawl for the speed bumps in the mall parking lot...
That does look wrong; did he mean something like plethora?
Wasn’t a one of em I would ever consider purchasing
Must be the complexity factor. The 7 series was redesigned this year, so maybe there is an improvement. Didn’t know about the series was problematic. I have a 5 series and love it. Yeah, I think the 3 series cars are pretty bullet-proof.
I would have gone page to page to read the whys. But there are no navigation links to other pages from the link you provided.
Avoid Fiat like the plague
