just wondering...
That makes sense and he’s right...Ted sounds much better than Felito.
If he won the liberals would call him the Felito Bandito for the rest of his life.
He likely goes by his middle name because he’s named the same as his father. Having two people of the same name in a household can cause confusion. Having decided to use his middle name (lots of people do this), he shortened Edward to Ted, as most Edwards do.
“A manâs name is whatever he says it is - I really donât care what Bobby Jindalâs ârealâ first name is either. Let the Democrats play the name game, Iâm glad to see people who want to assimilate into American culture.”
Some people here are so obsessed with everyone’s ethnic origins you would think they are Democrats.
People preferring their middle name
James Paul McCartney
George Ivan “Van” Morrison
John Donald Imus
William Roger Clemens
former MA gov Argeo Paul Cellucci
forner MA gov Willard Mitt Romney
How about presidents like John Coolidge, Thomas Wilson, Steven Cleveland and Hiram Grant?
Trump supporters are “confussed” about a lot of stuff. What’s new?
I just read Ted is short for Edmund...probably Edward, too....which is his middle name.
Yeah, he’s dead, Jim........................
No kidding. This one is seriously going down the stupid-express lane of the rabbit hole.
My great-grandfather was named Edward and went by “Ted”. My wife’s family refers to each other by their middle names. Big freaking deal.
Because he is sleazy! Its all about the lies with this Canadian! He is so sleazy he can’t even use his real...huh? What? Ted is just another name for Edward? Ummm...ugh...
Hmmmm...this makes me look silly. I bet this a set up! A set up to make me look silly! Just anothr dirty trick by the liar candaian Cruz!
MORE SLEAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same reason JEB! calls himself JEB!.
JEB are the initials for his full name - John Ellis Bush
Cute, Huh?
Let’s see . . .
Dwight Eisenhower was called Ike.
James Earl Carter went by Jimmy.
Hercules R. Perot went by Ross.
James D. Quayle went by Dan.
My brother-in-law John goes by David.
Etc. Etc.
"That's obvious by the spelling ability you exhibit."
And compounded by your inability to differentiate between "News" and "Chat."
neither
I wonder when he started using it. I’ll have to go back to his senior year book.
Kind of like Edward Moore Kennedy.
