I’m not sure I disagree with that.
BULL$#iite
This is what you posted:
Sorry but I spoke with Mrs. Schlafly two weeks ago to ask her to rescind her support of Trump. She said SHE HAS NOT ENDORSED HIM â she termed it media false reports. Tough luck.
See that little "Tough luck", that I highlighted. The only way I can see that someone would put that in, is if they were trying to make a certain point, as if trying to make a jab.
So cram your "civil discourse" crap, princess.
Urban Dictionary:
Tough luck
another way of saying "that's too bad" or "you'll have to deal with it"
You need to go to your locker? Tough luck; I don't give hall passes!
Secondly. In post #40 you said:
He said he would appoint his left-wing sister. NO ONE SHOULD SUPPORT TRUMP FOR THAT REASON ALONE. In August he said he would appoint a pro-abortion, partial-birth killing supporting justice to the Court. YUCK.
You COMPLETELY twisted what Donald Trump said.
This is what he said:
Mark Halperin asked Trump, "Is there someone out there today who isn't on the [Supreme Court], but say, this is the kind of person I would consider for the court? How about your sister? Think she'd be a good Supreme Court Justice?"
Trump responded, "Well, I don't want to mention names, I think it's inappropriate to mention names, certainly at this stage so early when we have a long way to go. Oh, my sister's great. I have a sister who's on the Court of Appeals and she's fantastic. I think she would be phenomenal. I think she would be one of the best. But frankly, uh, I think she - we'll have to rule that out now, at least temporarily. But I do have a sister who's very smart and a very good person."
This is nothing but a brother gushing over his sister. What do you expect him to say? Personally, I'd have more of a problem if Trump would have disparaged her.
The way I see it, misrepresentation is akin to lying. And you misrepresented what Trump said.
Halperin is the one who asked the question.
Halperin was the one who interjected Donalds sister into it. Not Donald.
Next. In your post to me, that I already quoted, you said you talked to Phyllis Schlafly and that she didn't endorse Trump (which is correct...) but then you said it was media false reports.
This according to Breitbart:
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/01/10/phyllis-schlafly-makes-the-case-for-president-trump/
"Trump is the only hope to defeat the Kingmakers," Schlafly told Breitbart resolutely. "Because everybody else will fall in line. The Kingmakers have so much money behind them."
about Cruz:
While Schlafly spoke warmly of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) , she said that she'd ideally like to see Cruz on the Supreme Court during Trumpâs administration. "That's the place I think Cruz should go,â Schlafly explained. "He's eminently qualified for that. And that would be a perfect solution for him⦠his qualifications are enormous⦠His education and his experience. He would be eminently qualified for that and very good at that."
Exactly what I said that Phyllis said.
Meanwhile...NOWHERE can I find Phyllis saying she was misquoted or flase media reports as you say. Trump has posted on facebook and twitter what Phyllis said. NOWHERE has she countered.
Oh...here's a youtube video with an interview with Phyllis. Go to the 1:30 mark
Does anyone have the foggiest idea?
Ask him.
Seriously man, lay off the kool-aid. We get it, you like him.
Could that HAIL/UBER ALLES part be lacking a < /sarc > tag? Happens sometimes!
I doubt that he gave much thought to the matter until recently.
