Be careful about old double shotguns with Damascus barrels, those things are ticking time bombs. Be particularly careful about guns like Charles Daly, Parker, WW Greener or Sauer guns that have those. I run a disposal service for such guns and will take them off your hands free of charge. I inherited one of the Damascus rolled steel double barrel shotguns made by LeFever Arms Co from my grandfather when I was seven years old. He traded a pig for it during the great depression. It has been in my closet for the over 30 years. I have been meaning to take it to a police sponsored gun buy back since I was told when I was a child I could never shoot new shells in it.
