If Donald Trump is your drunk uncle at Thanksgiving then Ted Cruz is the charming sociopath your sister brings to Christmas. During a speech at the Rising Tide Summit in Iowa, the freshman senator from Texas whipped the crowd into a frenzy by suggesting President Barack Obama wasn't doing enough to defeat radical Islam.
Cruz thinks he can do better. "We will utterly destroy ISIS," he said. "We will carpet bomb them into oblivion. I don't know if sand can glow in the dark, but we're going to find out."
That's right, Ted Cruz just promised to nuke the Middle East if elected.

If done correctly using a submarine launch we could start a nuc war in the ME and make it look like the Iranians started it against the Saudis.
Sand will glow in the dark if it gets hot enough. If it gets way way hot then it turns to glass.
I know of a few places in the ME that can stand to morph into glass.

Ironically, I’ve met many Iranians here (that are old enough to remember 1979) that LEFT Iran specifically for that incident. Most are opposed to the situation today, but are opposed to the govt in Iran and want it to be returned back to when USA were allies.
On the other hand, many of them are not the people I would trust if they were in the States :p

Which did not support your initial argument. Your initial argument was that Trump specifically planned to use Trident missiles against ISIS which was ludicrous. The second link just suggests that he would be willing to use nukes if necessary. Every President since Truman has said they would be willing to use them if necessary. It's expected.

I'm anti-hypocrite. Cruz says Donald has an unstable temperament and might nuke Denmark...but Cruz said he plans to nuke the middle east to defeat ISIS. I'm sure that sounds perfectly reasonable to you but it's not and it's very much hypocritical so quit wasting my time with your BS.
